Last year I received one ping from Sungai Besi heading to Johan Setia Klang. The fare was RM52.

The rider? One 600ml bottle of tom yam paste 😂 The person who ordered the trip was a foodstall owner.

Damn man, my Exora's VLT at the back is only 20%, and even that isn't enough to fight against the blazing heat in Malaysia.

I booked a ride yesterday morning from Proton Service Center Presint 14 heading to my home, which is 2km away (RM7). This lady driver accepted my request and it showed on my app that she was at the International Modern Arabic School, which was 800m away from where I was waiting.

Somehow, she missed the junction that leads to my PUP. It's okay, I gave her the benefit of the doubt; maybe she's a new driver or maybe she's not familiar with this place. Besides, there are two junctions that she can choose from within 1 km from my PUP where she can make a U-turn.

That's the thing though, she didn't make any U-turn at all. She drove straight all the way to Bandar Teknologi Kajang, which is at least 16km away from my PUP. What was suppossed to be 4 minutes of waiting time turned into 20. I could've cancelled after 10 minutes but I didn't because I walked 100m away from my PUP to the bus depot, just so she could pick me up easily and save her around 300m of turning in and out of junctions because it was a one-way road to get to the service center.

Maybe she wanted to play games with me, so I played along with her 😂

Lol, any msg/call? Who cancelled at the end?
*
Nah I didn't contact her. I just want to see what she was up to.

I ended the game after 25 minutes. Maybe she wanted to go and berak at her house 😂

I got a question for KV drivers, how often u got RM105 job to KLIA?

Just now at landside i saw someone history in 4 days he got 4 RM105 jobs to KLIA

All from midvalley, KL centre , Mont kiara

and most shocking his AR 100% @@!!
*
Hardly.

I've been a Grab driver since October 2017, and I've only received not more than 5 RM105 KLIA trips so far, including one offline trip.

That being said, most of the time I drive in Putrajaya, Kajang and Seri Kembangan only, so that could be one of the reasons.

QUOTE(river.sand @ Apr 5 2019, 06:46 AM)
I thought KLIA jobs are flat RM65?
Last time Uber surge rate applied to airport jobs as well.

What is so shocking about 100% AR dry.gif
*
JustGrab = RM65.
Grab+ = RM75.
Grab 6 = RM65/RM105.

Back when my Exora was still eligible for G+, I got so many trips to KLIA from Putrajaya. It was really mind-boggling because GC will only set them back RM45. Even if they book G6, it will only cost them RM65 but nope, people in Putrajaya prefer to ride on G+ RM75 when they want to go to KLIA, except for myself and a few others 🤣

So its been almost a week doing crap and what can i say is, riders memang tak appreciate ride. Pergh have to clean 2 times in a week sigh.

Belum lagi cakap pasal mangkuk yang suka tutup pintu kuat nak mampus. Sabar je lah.

Any bad stories you guys can share?

*
If I get RM1 for every bad experience that I tell, I might end up with a few ringgits short from buying out Grab 😂

Did anyone else watch the 8pm news just now?

Since the first announcement until today, only 35 units of vehicles have registered for Puspakom check ups 😂

Car maintenance is Okay but overdrive when it compromise your health factor is just too costly.  sad.gif

Imagine how much it would cost if anybody would suffer from stroke......after sitting too long without leg exercise with all that peanut jams stress.... chances of getting blood clot especially those above 40 , obese are pretty high. Most of the reported cases of drivers dying while driving were Taxi Fellas ....or Grabbers.   sad.gif

Picture that on how to cope up with lifestyle changes depending on severity of stroke attack.....  sad.gif

Driving for fun can reduce stress for some who doesnt really grab riders to cari makan. Sumore it take you places where you dun normal drive to have that Bak Good Teh at Klang or uphill trips to Genting Highland to have a cuppa of hot coffee in cooling Genting Highland. After all all the gas is being paid for by the riders. It is advisable for those mean old rockfellas who got time to spare.  brows.gif

But for those young turks, it is better to concentrate on thier career and most of all, quality time with the family. hmm.gif

I haven't driven for the past two weeks because I want to take some well deserved rest and I also want to reset my mind, and I've already lost 1.5kg in the space of 12 days.

This got me thinking, maybe I should forego driving for Grab for good come 12th July. If this should ever be materialized, I need to have some solid plans from now on.

Driver purposely enter that amount or mycar app is really crappy?
*
According to MyCar drivers, they need to key-in the decimal point manually.

So a toll fare of RM10.50 can easily become RM1050 if you're not careful enough.

MyCar's drivers are livid at the moment due to the implementation of AR and CR.

Like a legend once said, "Nothing lasts forever, even cold November rain" 😎

I have no idea.

According to one of them, the AR and CR are only meant as references for the drivers, not for the company to work upon. Doesn't make sense, but that's the only info I got.

I guess u never deal with Uber CS before eh, try dealing with Uber and Grab and u will know the difference in term of CS. In Uber CS was given much more authority to solve issue rather than be like Grab, just forward message and blablabla to relevant department.
*
Preach brother.

I was an Uber driver before I jumped ship to Grab, and the difference between the way both CS handle their drivers queries/issues is like day and night.

Incomparable.

Very impressive from bro Khai. From selling proton car as salesman , wealth planner , grab driver , and now with CUCKOO as a manager.
*
Krol and I used to be in the same group when he was an insurance agent.

He always has this "can do" attitude. He was doing decently back then, but you could see something was clearly holding him back from becoming a unit manager.

But look at him now. Maybe God wants him to appreciate his past hardships and learn from them, so that he will be a grateful and hardworking person in the future. I'm very happy for him 😊

The last time I drove was on 7th April and I've stayed off the wheel for Grab ever since, and Grab has asked me twice why have I not been driving for such a long time.

3 weeks is a long time? LOL!

Lol I'm not cutting ties with them yet.

We don't know what will happen in the future, so a contingency plan is very much needed especially nowadays 😅

By the way I've just wrote them a reply. Can't wait to hear soon from them 🤣

U go take the overall net earning divide by minutes u spent, what i get is normally RM0.50 per minute on MP/UP slot. Even today the fare is horrible with heavy traffic around KL City centre.
*
Yes, even driving during MP slot nowadays can sometimes feel like off-peak fares.

I wrote to them:
1) RM1/km off-peak fares aren't worth it.
2) 6S should be able to get GC+ requests like before.
