this is junction where come down from midvalley and heading towards bangsar, u see left hand side got one indian temple and cone in the middle. That is the accident spot, i guess after this DBKL going to do a concrete ramp there.
*
If I'm not mistaken, that junction is quite sharp and small isn't it?

Too many riders who want to go to KLIA before the dawn breaks abuse JustGrab instead of ordering for 6S when they are travelling with more than 4 pax and 2 luggages.

Maybe they're trying their luck or they're playing an odds game because they know those drivers who accept KLIA requests are very unlikely to turn down big bucks. I won't hesitate to cancel the request in their face, no matter what time it is.

Around 3.30pm today I received a ping from Presint 7 going to Putrajaya Immigration Office from RM9. I was at a road between Putrajaya Hospital and Putrajaya Firestation. PUP was only 300m away so I felt very happy.

My happiness was however short lived as I felt more and more suspicious of the PUP because it was set at the ERL main entrance, which is blocked off due to the construction of the MRT station. I said I have arrived and waited for my rider to come. For 3 minutes, no phone call nor any message received from the rider. Then suddenly the rider told me he/she is waiting at the police station. What a let down because the police station was actually 100m away from where I was initially. To get to that rider, I need to make a huge 3km U-turn.

Alas, I decided that RM3 cancellation fee for 300m is way better than RM9 for a 3km U-turn and 3.5km delivery.

Son, if you have a bachelor's degree, irrespective of your CGPA, I can show you how to be a Financial Advisor.

It's way better than driving for Grab and you can have a decent career path, but for the mean time you can be a Grab driver so that you can still have a source of income.

Quick question guys,

If Im using GrabPay, do I have to pay toll by cash or the driver can charge me via app?
*
You can do either way, but the best and safest way is to tell the driver to charge it on your card while you're still in his car.

Financial Advisor = insurance agent

Unit trust, will-writing and tax consultation among others as well.

The days of FA=insurance agents only are numbered.

Please take note that if you are travelling to KLIA/KLIA2 with 4 pax or more(including children) with at least 2 luggages, you are required to book Grab 6-Seater. Thank you.

Terima kasih.

I saved this template message and forward it to my riders everytime I accept their KLIA requests.

You won't believe how many of them will suddenly reply they're actually bringing along extra people and luggages with them. Like I've said before, too many riders heading to KLIA take advantage of drivers' unnecessary guilt, especially those who travel before dawn.

long holidays also queue very long at landside area..

Selamat datang ke KLIA. Nombor giliran anda seperti yang di bawah.
JustGrab (for Airport): antara 1401 hingga 1500 (ETA: 164 minit)
Peringatan:
Sila tunggu di zon menunggu yang ditetapkan sahaja. Dilarang menunggu di kawasan limo dan bas. Pastikan baki Dompet Kredit anda cukup untuk menerima tempahan.
*
The queue number isn't that important. The most important thing is how long does it take to reduce by 100?

Last year's Christmas was crazy. 1k++ finished in 3 hours only.

How you guys dress up when driving grab ?

I normally wear polo shirt with jeans and slippers.
*
4am-7am and 9pm-12am: Kain Pelikat, Baju Melayu/Jubah and slippers. I might wear my fav sweat shirt and trousers too.

10am-5pm: Work shirts, slack pants and shoes.

I don't drive 4am-12am round the clock though.

Crazy high fares with smooth traffic in KL yesterday.

KLCC - Putrajaya RM60 so I ignored all pings from KL heading to KLIA 🤣

11am-2pm & 3pm-6pm RM350 easily.

Wow no high fares so far for me today.

Maybe some drivers want to make up for their missed opportunities yesterday.

Hi guys, just wondering if I'm start8ng Grab, and I have the choice of doing it in Melaka, KL or JB, which would be the best choice?
*
It's a toss between KL and JB. Forget about Melaka.

The fares in JB aren't as high as the ones in KL (although you'll be surprised with "High Fares" worth RM5 in KL 🤣) but the traffic in JB isn't as bad as in KL, provided you're not near the causeway.

But one thing is for sure though, people in Johor tend to drive quite fast in the city, and it doesn't matter if it's during the day or night.

Isn't that a good thing? A friend of mine who drives fast has 4.95+ rating. I assume passengers would prefer reaching their destinations sooner.
thanks for the suggestion
thanks bro. So are you based in jb?
*
It depends on how fast you are used to drive in the city.

In KL, 80kmh is considered fast enough. In JB, that is too slow 😂

both of them better pay income tax, showing your income by social media is a bad move given by current government financial situation

I know Krol aka Bro Khai since 2009, because we used to be in the same insurance agency group before he parted his own way in 2014 due to not being promoted as a unit manager and if one thing I can talk confidently talk about him is that he is very particular when it comes to tax. It rubbed on him off our manager.

I knew his struggles, I saw it with my very own eyes and it makes me happy that he has finally found his own peace 😊

Alhamdulillah I believe God has saved me because I really wanted to go to Kajang last Friday around 3-4am but I didn't. I even woke up at 3.30am and took my phone off the charger and nearly went to take a shower. I don't know why but somehow I decided I wanted to go back to sleep although I know the demand to KLIA is usually high between 3.30am-5am for 6s on Fridays.

By the way, you also need to know iffy areas especially if you're driving during odd hours. Semenyih, Bangi Lama, Nilai 1 and Jinjang are some off the places that I avoid at all cost between 9pm-6am.

By the way, why do we rarely hear such cases involving taxi drivers? Do these robbers fear taxi uncles that much? Not that I want them to rob taxi uncles though.

Today has been quite a weird day for me so far.

First, I accepted a request from Presint 15 going to some kementerian in Putrajaya for RM15. All of a sudden the trip disappeared right before my eyes. I thought I had wrongly canceled the trip but my CR was 0%. No cancellation notice from Grab either.

Second, I picked up a rider from Presint 15 heading to Putrajaya Sentral for RM15. When I dropped her off, the fare became RM14. WTH! I thought I was wrong for thinking it was a RM15 trip, that was until my rider handed me RM10+RM1*5. She became confused as well when I told her the fare was RM14 instead of RM15.

What the hell is going on with Grab right now?

Presint 14 to MRT Kajang used to be at least RM15 before but now it has been knocked down to RM11? Maybe it's understandable if there's like 5 drivers around but I'm the only one available in this area.

Even the king of buang harga aka mycar charges rider RM15 for that trip.

And I didn't know before this that Grab even tells riders to book now because of off-peak low fares. What the hell? Now becoming even more cheapskate than mycar.

Are mod apps driver is back? Accept ping during peak hours and gone just like that. Check history nothing there. 2 days already.
*
Mod apps are always there, it's just a question of what type of nuisance they are deploying right now.

Yesterday I picked up a rider at Greenview Apartment near IOI City Mall Putrajaya. She asked me why is there a second car that is also coming to fetch her? She showed me her app. I told her I don't know, maybe it's a system glitch?

So there you have it, either there's a glitch in the system, or some drivers can steal your pings nowadays. I faced multiple disappearing pings too 2-3 days ago.

Guys, later when we have to register and apply PSV, puspakom inspection, commercial insurance and all, our operating costs is gonna shoot up so much..most likely have to declare income and pay income tax also. They levelling playing field with taxi drivers, but I feel GRAB fares are too low...Taxis don't pay income tax, and charge RM1.95 per km,,whereas GRAB's fee is about RM1 per km..it is so unfair. I feel GRAB's market share is so strong, they should increase their fares by 50% also, people will still use,,no difference...not fair to us drivers.
*
It has never been about levelling the field from start. Anthony Loke is just a no-balls asshole who is afraid of facing retributions from the taxi gangs. That's all.
