Didn't grab today, but wanna share my experience...

I was driving home after meeting customer. It was raining heavily. Waze guided me to drive through housing area instead of the highways I was familiar with.

Turned out the roads in the housing area were flooded. A couple of cars broke down. I had to get back to highway. Wasted half an hour.

Seriously this guy is fcuked up right now haha. And yeah, these things are normal in here in sabah. Sadly there are too many drivers overcharge passangers because fare too low bla bla. In the end, when they got banned, begging to crap again.

Once i pick up this makcik and she said, "tiada kena tambah2 juga ni kan kalau saya minta hantar ke rumah terus? Duit cukup2 saja." After that i know some stupid drivers here charging extras.

I know you hate AA, but manually accepting job is more risky, as you need to look at the job information and make quick decision.

for me, i just cancel if the fare is sucks, hit 10% also dont mind, i dont argue with riders.. waste of time...

Another side of more risk, mods will make it worst. After AA,i feel my income is much more stable nowadays compare before, only exception for bulan tua haha.

Anyway, any updates on mods these days? Some ppl complaining here those higher fares like 70++ get cancelled easily. Especially the ones in hot areas. DO they still have control on AA jobs?

so far i am earning roughly RM 150 a day. I drive between 11am-2pm and 7pm-10pm.

When u at the pup and press "arrived", the customer will received a msg on their grab app. They got option to "deny" if they cannot see your car. That's why even u are very near to the pup sometimes will prompted that u still "far". This is to protect riders from being cancelled by drivers who simply use cancel option "can't pick up at location" and even lagi bad driver who hide 5mins and cancel using "no show" .

I think Grab dont want to pay you RM3 if rider no show..

Is this new? What if rider prank drivers purposely press "deny" and driver can't even cancel after 5 minutes no show?

Tis is new crap feature for rider? Then die lor. More headache for the driver...

Don't understand the Deny function on the rider app.
Grab already can know the location of the driver from GPS, no? Unless the pickup point is underground, like at Empire City.

Bangla & indon for sure will go for gojek but not sure about locals especially amoi & also angmoh.
