My advise is avoid continental car at all cost, the spare parts is slightly more expensive than Japanese car, as for new and old car u know what to choose.
*
Japanese rising sun cars not cheap either. I wrote before that my Honda HRV replacement parts comes to about RM35K before 150 Kilometrico under warranty. Normal wear and tear parts to service not accounted yet. Once got butt kicked by a lorry where the rear lights and bumper got damaged. If go to under the tree.....cost about Rm 5K , but go to Honda , total damages over 10K. Since claimed under insurance , went to official workshop Honda........where it took 1 week to replace the damaged parts. rclxub.gif

Dat's why I bought Exora NGV for joy rides. They can banged it as my car value is below 35K but my charges are at least Rm12 for short distance. Airport is at Rm105 whereas Grab Plus is minus at Rm75. Higher than what I can charged when I was using my Honda HRV which was at Rm100K. as Grab Plus. I cannot imagine how of our friend can withstand the bang where his Japanese CHR Toycar is worth RM150K .......which is 5 times the value of my Exora NGV. Sumore charged at low rate than mine. My advise is go for 2nd handed cars .....you wont ache when they slam your Japanese toy cars or dirt your seats especially construction workers or drunkards. In fact, I can afford to drive and balik home base since I am running on NGV gas. A return trip cost me less than Rm12 fuel pump. bruce.gif

[I was thinking of getting the Toycar CHR for grabbing riders after Uber days. It looks so suede, sleek and sexy. cool2.gif

But then hati sakit if and when riders banged the doors or soil the toycar seats. shakehead.gif

Pickup with 1 minute from KL Sentral to drop off at Avenue K within 18 minutes on Friday nite at 7pm over distance of 5 km. bruce.gif

Probably the best in my Grabbing experience which I got over Rm50 in fare and boost where my fuel and time is minimal. rclxm9.gif

Makes me wonder how time boost works ......as yesterday trips came without any single angpow time boost and had long pickup time. And one of the trips, the rider said 3 drivers cancelled his order but yet my ride was without any boost where the pickup was over 10 minutes peanut jam. confused.gif

The problem with turbo engine below 2,000cc - easily kaput with load of headaches . It is Osama sama either with Proton or Peugeot sagas. shakehead.gif

Dat;s why taxi fellas switching gears to Innova for 6 seaters even though more expensive. You dun see many using Exora turbo. hmm.gif

Yes the sticker is the one which is the see thru type.

For the heroes who are driving without the stickers, the law states that the summons is  " up to RM2,000 "

Happy Grabbing everyone !
*
There are many "heroes" or "zeroes" on the road. console.gif

Someone pointed out earlier in the thread that they do want to be easy meat to be identified as KFC for potential robbers. hmm.gif

Others do not want their bosses to know they are trying to cari makan sambilan. sweat.gif

Me? I dun want to stick that sticker blocking my views back to front. The sticker is bigger than the road tax and Puspakom tag. And it is blardy ugly too. Who's freaking idea is that? And approved by the MOT......... shakehead.gif

For those who are driving plus from Toyota CHR to Honda HRV, how comfortable are the owners with MY banana ehailing stickers? confused.gif

I parked and lepak at KLCC semalam where I could see only a handful MY banana e hailing stickers cars and they are usually bezza or cars with top to bottom adverts. Most of the cars grabbing riders at the twin towers were without my banana stickers. If enforcement is there, sure can collect a lot of fines for Tabung Negara from the drivers who are trying hard to cari sedekah makan as lembu. rclxs0.gif

Hi all. Got little bit issue on PSV medical check. Yesterday I go to gdc signup since Crap got subsided medical checkup and the GP who undergo my medical check somehow put on hold give me referral letter ask me go see specialist 1st then come back (they didn't give me back the JPJ form) and go brief research all at least cost 100-200+ I was like god no ain't got time and money for that s**t.

Afterwards I chow to other clinic take the another JPJ form and do the same thing all over again and pass the test. So sifu2 lembu2 sekalian would I have any possible issue facing since got 1 form that uncompleted (probably they put temporary fail the test) keeping on crap side and 1 form that passed the test that now currently on my side. Note that I already pay deposit for Grab car rental, attending class and I plan go to somewhere else do PSV course and test. (Maybe scenario I seetle the rm20 medical check by Grab)
*
He is doing you a favor ......from his observation or prognosis as a professional medical examiner. He might be unsure therefore ask you to get the specialist view. There must be some obvious reasons from the panel doctor asking you for further examinations from specialist or lab test. Early detection can saves lives though it might not be anything serious if series of test done by the specialist console.gif .

During my free medical test with other guinea pigs, I have seen a number of drivers who should not be driving at least full time due to sign and symptoms of obesity to breathlessness, but all were given green cards. shakehead.gif

I strongly suggest you will look into early diagnosis by the specialist. Otherwise it might be an expensive affair which is the ugly truth. On the other hand, after the clearance, it could be nothing and you be free and fine to drive all nite long. whistling.gif

I have had posted the importance of healthy driving with the power of knowledge vested in me from years of medical detailing particularly in cardio vascular disease. I have had seen up close and personal family and friends suffered from serious to fatal situation which could be avoided if diagnosed earlier. Risk of medical condition increase with aging which is a fact of life. Your GP doctor is the first in line to detect and diagnosed if the medical condition need to be investigated further with sign and symptoms presented from BP to glucose readings. Or it might be the physical observation from weight to physical condition that do not correspondence with your age. But if your GP is writing a referral letter to the Government hospitals for observation, then you should follow up. nod.gif

Of course there are instances where the patients are subjected to expensive and unnecessary tests especially if you are insured and admitted to private hospitals with modern gadgets that costs millions invested. There were occasions where patients are subjected to surgery where it was unnecessary as alternative medical is and should be the correct medical practice. The surgeon cuts - the hospital gets more revenue and doctors gets sizable income. Always get a second professional opinion. brows.gif

Driving long hours under stressful conditions in peanut jam is not healthy. Even the car goes kaput in over heating in long overhaul driving. And it needs to be maintained with regular servicing and replacement. If your mechanic detect certain abnormalities, he will ask you to have further examinations or repairs. So the question is which is priceless? Your car or your body? confused.gif

I think it is true.....where I initially want to buy a new Exora bold and added the NGV. But got a second handed Exora CPS at half the price. cool2.gif

Being advised by mechanical engineers that it is not compatible with NGV and cars with smaller engine below 2,000c oredi got issues from Walkswagon to Peugot and Proton sagas with turbo engines. It would be a double jeopardy. shakehead.gif

Dats why after the exora bold saga with turbo engines, they are not factory fitted with NGV. Taxi rockfellas got to buy Innova to grab 6 riders with limited choice as it is price higher. Otherwise, they would have stick to Exora for ringgit and senses console.gif

To comply fully to the law and order, lembu got to stick the sticker front and backside of the window. And that is not all...... doh.gif

You got to watch out for Socso and EPF guys who are going undercover as well if you do not contribute to the fund. And then there are income tax guys....... shakehead.gif

Why buy new car to grab riders? confused.gif

Taxi fellas go into vicious cycle of changing cars every 10 years at double your rate also susah cari makan, how logical would it be after amortization. servicing, upkeep with wears and tears can Grabbers make monies. That goes for rental cars or taxi as well. confused.gif

Only buy new car if you are using for other purpose like me to earn extra funds or as supplementary income especially if your car is being subsidized by company if you are in the sales force. Just dun be caught with the stickers by doing so otherwise you may get the firing from the bosses. hmm.gif

I had used new Honda HRV with dual purpose. It has been used to ferry foreign residents from DPC to cari makan to Ipoh, Penang or Highlands and islands But meh tahan liao as the mileage goes over the warranty within 2 years. After that change it to EXora NGV where it is more sensible as I can carry 6 packs and can go over 888km with petrol and gas. Contrary to general belief, the upkeep is minimal for Exora CPS spec. And I got it for half the price as second hand car of 3 and half years. Just dun get Exora turbo as it needs tender loving care otherwise you be busted. hmm.gif

The rates are higher and ratings are favorable from riders taking Justgrab with Axia, Bezza or Sagas. Picture this - 1km ride in KLCC at RM12 and 60KM to airport at Rm105. Imagine this -My fuel cost is lower than Axia and the cost to own my Exora NGV is lower. cool2.gif

Even if I sell it later this year as I might be Uberman in the States, I wont lose much or not at all. whistling.gif

TQ for your compliments. It has had been decades since I last took A to E exam. Other exams I take regularly......Physical medical exam from blood test to blood pressure and glycemic to cholesterol indexes. Usually pass when I take care of my diet, wash my cars and walk my doggies siang malam. cool2.gif

Glad I passed with flying ....oops driving colors with fluke shot. Expected to be flunked as I open the grab training app and it made me doze off. Sumore in Bahasa . The last time I read Utusan was ......apanama sudah lupa samada lapan puluhan atau sembiilan puluhan. Guess MY bahasa dan budi still as good as it gets. Can still cook up the right answers in the PSV rojak pot of question.. whistling.gif

So I got to go to Grab office? What are in the folder? confused.gif

Which of course I just ignore because buang masa. Next came to Kerana Jaya from KLCC where it took me 1/2 hour sampai with soaring high fare of Rm80. rclxub.gif

Even the airport is peanut jam to pick up and drop off from DPC. Took me 2 hours to sampai . Luckily got a trip back from Cyber to KLCC with RM70. whistling.gif

Hari Ini Sejarah Osama sama with no TBS from 5 to 10pm rclxub.gif

Tunggu durian jatuh di KLCC where got a trip to Alor at Rm27 soar high surge for 3 km drive. This is a big ikan bilis where I dun mind to swallow as there is not much jam for pick up and drop them with alternate route. Somehowl ike usual there are blurred sotong tourists who send me the picture of KLCC and expected me to know where they are hiding. Moreover gate to tower 1 to 2 for all entrance is closed at 10pm. As expected , telan Rm4 cancelled trip where they dun know whey they are though I told them "bus stop hop on hop off", doh.gif

Then got a pickup trip at BB to USJ with soar high of Rm90. Sampai in within 10 minutes and ended trip within 38 minutes. TBS from rider an extra Rm10. So the whole trip is Rm100 for less than 1 hour job with 30 km distance. . cool2.gif

From white shoes to black shoes policy, instead of science and technology, MY Ministers go Khat khat khat.... rclxub.gif

If we goes through all the rules and regulations, wouldn't it be better to change the status of e hailing to pick up taxi by applying the extra permit or simply rent the vehicle especially for those going full time? You get only 10% deduction from Grab for using their platform and pick passenger by roadside. hmm.gif

If going part time, is it worth the time and trouble to be lawful by abiding all those rules and regulations? From Crappy JPJ to Puspakom to KWSP to HLDN to SOCSO and extra cost by buying extra insurance? confused.gif

There are many who drive part time to cari makan at the expense of quality time and friends to lepak at Mamak shops. Some doing so at risks of not getting inadequate rest with stress driving in the jam or long journey away from their homes designation. Others doing because they need to because they are jobless especially at the weaken economy. These people needs helping hands actually but instead get extra pressures from MY government agencies. cry.gif

Even those driving for fun are actually doing something for MY country. As a driving chef, I have had been promoting tourism where I guide the foreign riders to places of interest and to makan sini sana. As a result many recommend their friends back home to engage my service. MY gomen should recognized these effort to give incentives instead of unnecessary pressure to squeeze monies and times from our hard earn monies. hmm.gif

What the Khat were they thnking? tongue.gif

nolah or not yet......My PSV lessen also belum apply . so Malingfun hmm.gif

I am just driving for fun as long as it takes me but the rules and regulations makes me just think whether it is worth it by going to take a picture of myself to JPJ and car inspections to Socso and EPF for cantum ....or carum. rclxub.gif

After all, I am suppose to fly to States where I am taking my kid to college while I may apply the position as Uberman. whistling.gif
