This spike probably due to religious gathering at Sri Petaling MY Gomen did not stop the large gathering participated by foreign guests from Iran and china with large cases of Covid 19.

Up to date MY Gomen still have not banned religious gathering mosque to churches or temples. Even theme parks and cinemas should be banned as there are close contacts to rub shoulders with each others. It is scary to know what would other numbers spike from tomorrow onward......

To be safe, take two weeks off before you start driving.

Getting infected is a costly affair. Not just being hospitalized to be recovered , but lung function would decreased by 20 percent according to clinical studies in HK.

And ensure you wind down the window after pickup and during the journey in case the riders goes achoo.....

Riders can get infected by the surfaces or car handles touch by the previous riders. Up close and personal air conditioned would means virus sticking to the car surfaces easily.

BTW, many those who are infected may be asymptomatic ......which means they display no fever sore throat or whatsoever. All it needs is just a touch and retouch on the surfaces, a person can be infected.

How to social distancing when you are breath away by grabbing riders in air conditioned enclosed space ?

I thought of enclosing with partition like NYC cabbies with flexiplastic to separate myself between back seat riders. But where can I do it?

Are you not worry about the risk of getting infecting where you are grabbing riders in enclosed air conditioned which is just centimetres sneezing away?

I had been hospitalized for surgery and the movement control in the hospital is a torture.

It would be scary to be lock up at Sg Buloh for Covid 19 as security is tight and visitors are not allowed at all.

Unable to renew roadtax as I need to o to Puspakom were I was told I ad been registered. But I only went for the PSV test but not registered or gone to Puspakom for inspection before. Now have to go there to deregistered at pUSPAKOM or go for inspection. Niamah.

So if I go to Puyspakom what are the things I need to present. As far as I know, I dun have the e hailing number from Grab. Adn if I decided to registered what are the proccedures and documentation I need toi present?

There are so many grab cars and probably more Grab Plus drivers on the road after given the pink slip from Air Asia. Hence many are getting Rm5 rides or none at all after hours .........

The finger tips is grabbing riders with 6 seaters. But it is costly to buy and expensive to maintain. Alza is a 6 seaters but uncomfortable - surely got cancellations and poor ratings after ride. Exora Bold is another choice but drink petrol like horse. Other MPV from BRV to ARUZ are double the cost of sedan cars from 70K.

IMHO the only logical choice is what being used by taxi rockyfellas. Either grab riders with Saga, Persona, Toyota Innova or Proton Exora CPS with NGV,. It is all about cost effective value to affordability and durability. With considerations from costing in service, spare parts and fuel consumption.

I drive proton Exora with NGV where it cost me Rm15 to run at 150 km on NGV refill in Klang Valley. If driving to Ipoh it would be just a tankful of Rm15 over 200KM. It is abnormal that mod user are stealing the rides in 6 seaters. Either there are less Grabbers in this segment or they already got thier handful with demands. In fact, I prefer short distance rides where fares starts from Rm12 onwards which is more than double Just Grab Rm5. It is not surprising that there are many order 6 seaters though it is a single rider or 4 riders with no luggage. They probably to not wanna to be peanut jam with Axia or Saga. That is also why Alza for 6 seaters face plenty cancellations. Imagine adults seating at the third row of Alza which is meant for primary kids. Exora is tight on the third row but bearable with more legroom and in height.

The MCO has affected with more just grab drivers and also with less riders. I think 6 seaters segment is less affected. I drive from 3pm to 10pm where I go about 100 km taking about Rm200. And it comes in extra tips in 1 out of 8 rides. That is not too bad since I take plenty of break fast with smoke, shopping and shaking legs. In fact, I am currently cruising on just Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. Sometimes for months. That is not cost effective.

I have been paying from buying it second hand to service ,repairs and replacements from battery to tyres, suspensions and brake pads, compressor to radiator, fans to timing belts and painting job costing 8K. I always keep in check as I have regular rides to Genting and Ipoh foodies with up and personal guests from my wifey who is in the real estate biz. Return ticket is RM300. more often than not free meals and tipping too. My ROI is considered superbly from Gojek riders.

I was suppose to fly to USA to be Uber driver but luckily I didnt book the flights. In fact, my son is studying in local college where full fees being paid instead of getting free education in United States of Covid.

Grab should introduced only 3 riders only for Grab car or 5 riders for 6 seater where the passenger should not be seated next to the drivers up close and personal in social distancing.
