this happens many times to me in nilai..a thieves are at work..guess they feed their children with stolen money/trips frm us

they can invest in anything as long does not harm others or cause loses for others..i dont support this modded device thing as in my opinion honesty is the best policy

Using mod apps is gaining an unfair advantage through breaking the rules. By stealing high fare jobs which should have gone to other drivers, it is cheating other drivers who play by the rules. Using mod apps show a lack of integrity and honour.

well said..i can't digest tht some ppl can still think tht using modded apps n stealing jobs is not cheating. If you cheat someone of course it cause losses to that person lah. Its like eating from other ppl plate by tying their hands behind. Maybe in this group got ppl use modded apps i am not judging them  but pls reconsider your cheating habits.. Are you feeding your parents / children /spouse with money cheated from others? Every single day i loose trips without a trace i called grab and never got satisfied answer..do you think i never cursed those who do this? It is not right to think in terms of investing money to get better returns, therefore mod apps is acceptable. Within the framework of the Grab e-hailing system, there are rules to ensure fairness. Basically, whoever driver is nearest to passenger will get assigned the job.

If we talk about fishing in the sea, there is no such framework of fairness rules. So yes, whoever invests more money to buy a bigger net will catch more fish. Whoever invests more money to equip his boat with better sonar will locate more shoals and catch more fish. This is totally acceptable and has no moral ambiguity.

I give you another analogy. Let's say in the passport office, a signboard shows the rule is 'first come first serve by taking a queue number'. Another signboard says 'bribing is forbidden'. And today all staff bar one are on leave, only 1 counter open. So imagine you took a queue number and after waiting 4 hours, you are almost there, just one more number to reach yours. Then a runner comes in, goes straight to counter and hands over a big 'investment' to the officer, who then serves him without queue number. And this runner has 50 passports to apply for his clients. The officer takes 2 hours to process those. You end up waiting another 2 hours then you are served.

Would you say that's totally acceptable and you have no issues with being made to wait 2 hours longer, since somebody else 'invested' money to jump queue while you didn't?

Genting priority lanes are explicitly posted up front and made clear for the public. same as first class lanes etc. JPJ runner lanes are 'unofficial'...ie corrupt practices.  If you can't appreciate the differences in the two scenarios, its not surprising you don't care about following rules  and what is fair or not.

This is all fine until one day you come up against some injustice to you and someone richer then you can afford to pay/bribe his way out at your expense.

Should suggest government to implement policy for all companies in Malaysia by giving priority to those jobless people instead of offering employment to people that is already employed. Macam lah semua employed people having a very good skillset.

Crap now more CB purposely make it more harder to earn insentive. Last time need min 40trip to earn insentive for weekend now need 45trip. Purposely make it hard for parttimer like me. Next time not surprised will increase more trip.
