Hi there, is anyone interested to participate in an Aruz survey? We are a market research company and looking for x70 or Aruz owners for survey either by phone which we pay rm60 or rm150 for a focus group discussion at our PJ office. Let me know if anyone interested. Thanks.
*
might as well considering doing a focus group discussion in penang island, seen quite a plenty of aruz here. and x70 as well. brows.gif

should the car suspension be 'squeaking' every time hitting a bumper?

yeah, i think so... is it normal? but only early in the morning every day sound is loud..
*
my old saga BLM does have such noise especially in the morning. sounded like the metal rubbing from the brakes. while for proton almost every car have such symptom in the morning, vapor condensation? material friction? design? i have no idea.

back to aruz, my wife's aruz doesn't have such issue though.

Fellas, if you have any issues, big or small, just highlight it to SC as soon as you could. They are collecting data for Aruz defects. So, unless the problem is obviously seen and serious they might do it for you, else, they will only submit report to HQ and HQ will compile the data and advise the SC on next step.

Yes it's the 1000km servis.

I understand your situation having to leave the car is such a hassle. As an alternative you can record the issue with your phone and show it to them. Sometimes the problem doesn't happen when you bring the car in.

I had an issue with my DVR where the video was not sharp. I anticipated that the service center would not be able to review the recording. So I copied the video onto the laptop and brought it with me when sending the car for service.

When they looked at it first they had no SD card adapter to download the recording. So I showed them on my laptop. The service center was engaging enough asking various question for preparing their report to HQ on this since it was the first time they encountered it.

did you take off the lens plastic cover sheet?

how the fc? i drove my dad's car, cruising at 100kmh while rpm at 3,000.. very high i would say..
*
Yeah, so you expecting 1500rpm for 100km/h cruising from a 1300kg vehicle driven by 1500cc 4AT power train?

QUOTE(SnoWFisH @ May 15 2019, 03:38 PM)
That's normal. 110km @ 3.1k rpm

FC is quite good so far. After break in at 2k km. I'm consistently getting 12.x km/l for Penang city driving, which has a lot of start stop traffic.

The FC is measured based the fuel I pumped at each time. The FC meter in car always show 1 km more....

1 complain I have is that the tank is quite small... I have to pump every 3-4 days.
*
meaning your fc meter is telling you AVG of 12.xkm/l and in actual it should be 11.xkm/l per your calculation?
the fuel tank itself wasn't small i would say, it's 45 liter. of course if you were to compare the tank to the size of the car, indeed, it's a bit smallish i would say, i think it will be good to have a 50 or 55 liter tank but then everytime you pump the petrol you gonna have a heart attack. laugh.gif

not hissing.. more like spring sound..
ok.. so i've sent to SC and they said its normal.. but they said they regrease and now the sound went away .. told me to use if sound come back try change the bush stating its still under warranty..

my fc is 11.9-12.4 around Klang Valley.
*
obviously they are bluffing. if it is normal then they will not regrease and trying to change the bushing for you. Or maybe they are trying to say it is normal to have such issues on perodua cars. shakehead.gif

Went to SC.. they say this is normal.. confused.gif  said all car like this..

it wasn't surprises me for sc to say "everything is normal". i think nowadays perodua sc more focus on service intake, and little issues that doesn't affects the functionality of the vehicle they will declare it as "normal".

Add bar will be more stable?
*
no matter how many bars you add, it is an SUV with 220mm ground clearance, you don't race it like F1 for cornering.but adding bars will give extra rigidity for the car. probably you should consider to add a strut bar as aruz doesn't come with one.

Does anyone have this experience with their Aruz. Been having this intermittent problem for the past two months. Been to the service center more than 3 times. Left my car there for several days for three days at a time. The last one on Monday. Change panel wiring was the last thing done. Today the same idiot lights pop up for no reason and disappears for no reason also. Any comments or have same experience.

I don't think damaged suspensions can be classified as a common problem because it very much depends on the road conditions they have been subjected to.
Regardless old or new, it will still be damaged if the vehicle has hit a pot hole hard or being driven fast over speed bumps or bumpy roads.
*
no idea, there's lotsa debates about why a shock absorber showing oil leakage. To me, for a car model that is launched early this year, clocked less than 20k km of mileage (generally), and having a leaking shock absorber, i will consider that being a sub par quality, regardless is it the part doesn't design for the spec, or the part itself is defective.

anyway, wish you luck that you never come across your rear absorber leaking, and by replying you it reminds me to have a check on my wife's aruz as well.

apparently there's a petition going on regarding the spare tyre.

Recall Perodua Aruz, change a defect spare tyre without any cost incurr.

Perodua Aruz, manufacturing batch Jan - Jun 2019 have a defect at spare tyre, due to poor Engineering Design by manufacturer (DFMEA).

Perodua need to replace a new spare tyre immediately without any cost incurred.

Perodua Aruz driver have a fatality risk if the defect tyre exploded due to thin wall tyre.
