I would say all telcos in Malaysia will charge for 1300 calls, even if you're on an "unlimited calls" plan.

I'm on Huawei; I have no problem locking on AGPS on Digi. Loading the map is also pretty fast. But then I'm not in the Klang Valley.

Generally my GPS is ok, sometimes depends on locations, example I know of friends and I have problems in SS2, PJ in this particular neighborhood, away from the town center. I’m not saying the whole of SS2 has problems.
How about your location settings, is it “Always” or “While using GPS”?
Switch to “Always” if your setting is “While Using”
Next thing to try is can your phone select 3G service instead of 4G. I know of friends who done it and it works.

To my previous and current observation, Huawei and Honor is good in GPS locking, be it Kirin or Snapdragon chipset. Waze, Gmap or Sygic all are good to be use with either Maxis, Digi or Celcom.
Judehow must be using car tinted that could restricted GPS reception.

Ah, no wonder, now I know why...

I called Maybank's CS few times this month, that's why it's charged, but I wonder why the destination of the caller shows "TM Sabah" though...

Also didn't know that calling 1300 number is chargeable, thanks for the enlightenment! notworthy.gif

You should use another number for those calling from outside Malaysia, eg Maybank cards 03-79490626.

All the telcos copy/paste from TM calling 1-300 "toll-free". They don't know what they're talking about.

TM meaning for Toll free 1 300......

TollFree 1800 gives you a single number that your customers can easily remember and call from anywhere inMalaysia for FREE. TollFree 1300 is an alternative for your nationwide customers to call you at the price of a local call only, regardless of where inMalaysia they are calling from.

Written clearly....

The best answer would be: no harm in trying out on your own.

All of the sudden I have been charged rm4/sms of content, that service activated without my consent at all and it happened while I am driving around 5pm. Complaint to the community, after few days the community manager replied me saying that I need to deal directly to the provider. Likely the act of cuci tangan by them. I MNP to Digi after almost two years with Yoodo without this problem, not even 2 weeks with Digi and this robbing happened.
