is it true that paying using grab wallet gives u more reward points compared to using your credit card directly without reloading the grab wallet?

my fren also said for grab rides the fares will be cheaper if using grab wallet. I tried checking the fares when changing the payment method, the fare remains the same

Anyone would you please humor me to my poor understanding on the price calculation on grabfood: How does the system calculate the 20% discount?

mcd product subtotal RM 12.75
tax RM 0.76
promo (pek raya senang-20%) RM -2.75
Delivery fee RM 5.00

Total RM 15.76

But didnt segregate Grab Wallet or direct with CC.
Only Grabpay VS Cash.

Yes, sometimes will have promo specific for grab wallet usage. Using direct CC not able to use the promo code.

I never use raya pack's voucher at retails, I only used online voucher eg Lazada and Klook, which is directly deduct 20% on total amount.

RM12.75 + RM0.76 = RM13.51
RM13.51 x 20% = RM2.702
Grab will round up the number to the nearest payable amount eg RM0.05
So RM2.702 -> RM2.75

I think the joke is on you?

I also feel that Gpay gt rounding issue as noted sometimes after completed the delivery, the actual deduction will be slightly differed from the pending amount hold, slightly incr by few cents. grumble.gif

gotten 1500pts each. luckily still got quota left.
