for those opting for tempered glass SP, please opt for the full coverage. after 2 months owning this phone, the screen survived flat faced against rough concrete floor (chipped at the edge), and now chipped at the bottom while being stacked under few stuffs inside the scooter compartment.

can't imagine if i used the normal front coverage only sweat.gif

Anyone using wireless charging for the phone? Besides it slower than charging cable, will it generate heat on back of the phone?

Yes confirm will shorten the lifespan faster than wired charging becos more charging cycles.

Ah. I see. Alright. So the advantage of wireless charging is just convenient. I also quite worried about the heat generated while charging.

You're right, heat is also one of the cause of battery degradation as well.

It is convenient indeed. But also the charging speed is still slow. Most of the wireless charger even high end is only below 2A. charging speed is quite slow I would say.

Maybe if use inside car is worthwhile since once board the car just place it to charge instead of looking around for charging cable.

I'm using wireless charging extensively. I have both charging pad and charging stand. Both Anker 7.5 powerwave. So far so good. Battery health now at 99%. It dropped sometime last week. So its like 6 months since I started using it that it dropped 1%. Anker powerwave have built in cooling fans, and charge at 7.5w. So there is no concern about heat buildup. Indeed, compared to wired charging, definitely wired is faster but for XR, I don't need to recharge during the day and my XR can last me the whole day till i go to sleep. For my needs, its very good since it is convenient. The stand version is more useful but more costly than the pad variant.

Ya, that's the beauty of the XR - even with 4 hours screen time I'd still have 50% battery remaining in a span of 24 hours thumbup.gif

Why my videos all pecah when sent via wassap?

Tried 1080 30fps and 1080 60fps. Both also pecah. Is it normal?

Still photos no issue.

Unplug 7.00 am, now 9.37 pm, battery still 30%. Used mainly for wassap, twitter and short sessions of cartoons on youtube.

Good phone so far.

"If you choose to send an existing video, it is limited to 16 Megabytes. On most phones, this will equal about 90 seconds to three minutes of video. If you choose an existing video that is larger than 16 MB"

Thank you for the info. Will try later.

So sad... Went for event yesterday. Took nice videos of my sons playing around. Wanted to share in family group. End up pecah.

Family don't have telegram.
