Most of other Xiaomi smart stuff can only be found in China server
Other servers may or may not list the smart device that you want to add.

You should avoid buying Roborock T series like T4 or T6
These will have problems using outside of China.
If you need to use China server, you should avoid buying all the newer Roborock models like S4, S6 and S5 Max.

It won’t matter global or China version if you don’t intend on having a whole collection of Xiaomi smart products and this vacuum robot is your only device

I just brought China version of Roborock S5. But unable to use it in app. Any here able to solve this problem? I did ask the China seller, he said China version cannot use on oversea, is that true?

you need to goto Vacuum Settings and turn on Map Saved Mode (beta)
then make the robot do a cleanup of your entire floor. Then only you will see a map

Able to use and load the map after reset and change to China time zone. Thanks anyway.

Got room function but havent try it yet.

As long as got enough space it can navigate itself properly. If cant enter between chairs and table it will just vacuum around it.

Planning to get one

S6 is the latest model. With the latest firmware update in s50, the different is it is faster & quieter.

Latest update bring up the ability to add room. Also it can store different map as backup. I think these will be useful for those who stay in multiple floor? But i cant try it out cos staying in condo. Only single floor. So only saw 3 identical map. Have option to delete map or use it as current map 😅
