Wow the latest boost update features gated parking lol. Scan QR code at the boom gate to enter, pay parking before exit and scan QR code at boom gate to exit.

Very very interesting concept but I am afraid to try lol.

You can download the parking code just in case when there's no network, but you should always pay first when there's network before proceeding to exit the car park.

RM4500 for cash-out (to Bank account)
RM4500 for e-money transfer (to another Boost account)
RM4500 for Bill Payment and Scan&Pay

So the extreme users may top up RM13500 (average) per month.

I always have this phobia of getting stuck at the parking exit where there is a long queue behind you

That's why there's an option to download the parking QR first, it would work even when there's no network during exit, but make sure to pay first when there's network before proceeding to exit.

Yes I saw this feature. That is very thoughtful of them in considering all possible scenarios where things might just go wrong. Like no internet connection at the basement parking etc.

Will probably give it a try once they implement it in the malls that I frequent.

Yeah, so far there's only two...

TBS and Gurney Plaza if I'm not wrong, but I think they're using the same infrastructure as JomParking, so expect more parking lots to be added.

One thing I'm curious is how it looks like, if the QR code scanner is placed at at the same machine as where you take your parking ticket, then we should always be aware of our surroundings because we're gonna be sticking our phone out from our windows to flash the QR code.

I foresee the machine will be where you take your parking ticket. I think it will be a separate machine like how touch n go is in some shopping malls, it will be better if they can integrate it into the existing machines but I doubt they can make that happen.

Do you know this campaign until when? n how much spend required ? ( I noe it's ended ald, juz wan to noe the date.)
