Hello. Is pbb vs cashback is based on statement date? I did spend more than the cap (rm633) for March yet only getting rm8 cashback.

So does it mean pbb vs is following statement date for cashback ? Which mean i shouldnt use this card for further spending until next statement date which is 26th april?
Thanks

Statement date 26-3-2019
Transactions posted on 27-2-2019 to 26-3-2019: RM138.85
Dining @ 6% = RM 8.33

Nothing wrong, why you claimed you already spent RM633 ?

I claimed i use more than 633 on march. As im not sure pbb vs has the same mechanism with m2amex. (Cb Based on calender date instead of statement date)

Please remove you picture as it shows the card number and cardholder's name.

And you already spent >RM633 for next statement.

PBB VS cashback cycle follows statement date. Kindly check post #2 before asking here so that the effort of TS updating important infos relating to PBB cards does not go to waste.

seriously, keeps making wrong claims doh.gif

your cb is expected on 26 Apr statement. SPENDING based on statement cycle. CB credited ON statement date.

this is NOT the same as M2C Amex. where/how did you make the assumption that PBB VS (or any pbb cards) does?

Hi all,

Wanted to ask about the new card promotion for luggage/Xiaomi smartwatch, different cs give me different answers:

1. First call - have to spend RM300 on mastercard, the visa no need to activate and can cancel after obtain the luggage and no sst will be charged.

2. Second call- have to spend RM150 on EACH card to be eligible.

3. Per TnC, need to spend RM300 PER card to be eligible.

Bigpay transactions are not eligible.

Anyone have experience on this, and what are the actual terms actually? The terms per cs and pdf are quite vague.

AFAIK, retail transactions are only eligible, so means utility bills are not qualify?

Thanks so much!

If you want 99% sure to get gift, then Keep It Simple and Stupid.
Use Quantum Visa at Parkson, buy RM600 vouchers. Get RM30 CB, more than enough to cover first SST.
Use Quantum Mastercard at Dining and Online stores, forget Bigpay and Boost, spend RM600.

Normally, Utilities, Direct Marketing, Insurance, Government transactions, Quasi-cash schemes are excluded in PB's campaigns, not sure if it applies to new card application as well.

Thanks. After I’m done with the spending, do i have to call up cs manually, or they will automatically contact me? What’s the process for redeeming the gift, and what’s the timeline usually?

True true hahaha 😂 luckily bigpay is qualified for those spending categories.
No worries bro. I got myself quantum also. To make it simple, you have to spend RM300 on either one of the card only to get the free gift. While for the RM25 cash rebate, you have to spend another RM200 on each card so that both can receive RM25 cash rebate.

The luggages and cash rebate were received after roughly a month of my spending. To make yourself more comfortable, once your spendings are posted, then give a call to CS to double check have you fulfilled everything to receive the gift and cash rebate. This was what I did to ensure everything went well. Hope it helps

*Oh ya, for my case. I have to pay the SST first. The cash rebate came after my first statement was generated.

Answers from my own experience
1. for gift- must keep both visa n master cards
2. for gift - spend min RM300 on either visa or master
3. for "Cashback for apply PB card" of RM25 ( to offset SST) - spend RM200 . Applies to each card respectively. ie RM200 spent on visa will get RM25 cashback on visa card. Another RM200 spent on Master ---get RM25 cashback on Master card.

BP top up goes towards eligible transactions(despite what CS said...so advisable not to go ask/debate with CS )

Didn't have to call anyone... was surprised that gift was delivered without any call from anyone smile.gif
