So has everyone got their Turbo upgrade? I haven’t. Still stuck on RYE100 while happily using my neighbour’s Turbo500.

However TM reduced my bill on 24 Oct. They took out the RM30 Ruby pack making it RM159 for RYE100.

Same with Maxis unlimited calls. Everything free except 1-x00 and those special 5 digit numbers. Only exception from the exception is 1-800.

That's good to know. I wonder if a minutes plan on Maxis would be the same. I just call their 03 equivalent of 15454.

You can, just gotta specially code onto the BTU itself, only will work. Just a simple password if you don't need the voice line. Someone posted an example and photos earlier.

Back in October, currently back on 100Mbps so can't test again.

I'm currently paying RM159 for RYE100 and have this.

See what happens lah. The 800Mbps is really slow.

Nevermind lah, I used 500Mbps for about a month. The only times I feel the speed are during cloud uploads, torrents, Steam, Apple & Google stores. It doesn't make a huge difference. 95% of the time, it's the same thing.

Now busy with Apple Homekitting my house so UniFi CS hasn't heard from my foul mouth in quite a few weeks. Only call them once in a blue moon during anger management sessions.

Uh no, it's bit of a long story. In note form.
- Still no Turbo. Mad at UniFi
- Convinced neighbour to switch to Maxis RM129
- Neighbour got Turbo'ed to 500
- Swapped BTUs with neighbour. So now I have 500.
- Pujuk neighbour to remain with Unifi instead of Maxis
- 1 month later neighbour switch to Maxis RM129.

Can't blame her as she was paying RM200+ for her 50-500.

I was, the same as you, on RM189 for RYE100 until Oct 24 when, out of the blue, a Modify order appeared. I thought it was for Turbo but it came and went with nary a change. Then I checked my services and found that Ruby pack was gone and with no amendments to my discount, special or otherwise. A few days passed before the bill came which confirmed that the amount had been reduced by RM30 to RM159.

I don't know. I didn't do anything. The Modify order initiated by someone or something at Unifi just showed up in the list of activities one day. Maybe it's related to the complaints I made regarding not getting my Turbo or having to pay RM189 while others are playing RM129 for 100Mbps but all the complaints were already long closed.

What's your full package and discount? Mine is RYE100 299 + Ultimate 60 + STD20. Discount is 150+50.

Can this month be less, RM129??? Because now I got Promo Discount RM200 and Promo Discount RM30. Stay tuned, bill coming on the 28th.


All things same except for the discount. Previously it was 150+50.

That makes sense. So they will be increasing the price for UniFi Pro by RM30 and offset by the extra RM30. End up to be same. I'm still happy. RM159 for 800 is good already.



Zi-tech says price will be increased and offset by the extra RM30 so end up the same. Were your discounts adjusted by RM30 too? My bill is on the 28th. Have to wait till then to see.

I think yours is coincidence, I think I clicked Submit on mine last week or 2 ago, when the Turbo Status first became available but got the Modify Order about the same time as you. They probably did everyone(?) yesterday.

I think chocobo7779 got it the same way as me. Maybe something like this.
Initially Advance 30 @ RM179.
Early 2017: Free upgrade to Advance 50.
Nov 2017: RM10 upgrade to 100Mbps (+STD20 & Ultimate Pack). The so-called RYE100 campaign. So become RM189.
August 2018: Slated for Turbo upgrade.
24 October 2018: TM auto reduced the price by RM30 to RM159. By removing redundant RM30 Ruby pack.
15 Dec 2018: Turbo upgraded to 800Mbps.

You lucky. Yours is RM10 cheaper than mine. I've seen ppl report here RM159, RM169, RM179, RM189 (me), RM 199 and above for RYE100Mbps.
