Erm u need 2 shed more details on your situation, your ONT/modem/BTU model? Its specs? Do u really need 800M? U need 2 ask urself this seriously, this is whole new territory and realm, u need to master new networking knowledge in order to fully harness your bandwidth. Your wifi devices like phones, laptops, tablets etc hardware potential also serve as a limiting factor for u 2 fully harness the bandwidth.

Like TS SilentVampire mentioned, if your primary usage is on wireless, u can 4get about getting 800M via wifi from flinkDIR842, your max speed also degrades wih distance from your router as the signal strength of wifi broadcast fades and weakens and whatnot.

Short answer: Dlink Dir842 only if u make special request for it, else no replacement at all will be done. That's what happened in my case.

stuartlee2015, how was your case last time when u get 300M dl and 50M ul, how u got your router replaced? TM sent technician automatically to your house or u had to make request for it? Or TM asked whether ur hardware had to be replaced?

mines still 100Mb/s, i got the upgrade email for phase 1 but still stuck paying 300 every month for 100Mb/s,  no turbo yet :'( i really need the speeds.

Someone also mentioned smallnetbuilder, i usually contribute there, but i am sad to say that the listed speeds for the router models are wrong, because the theoratical speeds did not include PPPOE and VLAN, something that Unifi uses which significantly slows down routers especially broadcom as they have no actual hardware acceleration. i see quite a lot of users asking about the AC68U and  AC86U, sad to say the AC68U will not do 300Mb/s on unifi config, i remember debating once the software speed of the dual core ARM A9 from broadcom in that it cannot accelerate PPPOE and VLAN. I would reduce the speeds by 40% of stated theoratical software NAT speeds for broadcom based routers.

bro, but there is this weird thing. when i temp off my kaspersky, my speedtest went up to 400Mbps, but not up to 800Mbps, it shoot up temporary from my constant tests of average 250/800Mbps download
