QUOTE(kewell787 @ Jul 26 2019, 08:25 PM) Yesterday left 1 bar, I cruised from klia to flora Damansara. When I reach, flora, the yellow fuel indicator still not light up yet. Well, as I said Bezza is so fuel saving beast. No regret buying it. |

QUOTE(glorykeeper @ Jul 25 2019, 03:43 PM) Installed 1st stage. Made a good difference of 10%. A bit more confident in taking corners and when lorry or express buss fly by, there isn't much roll. I only did the 1st stage and now changed to Toyo 185R14 and the handling improved by another 10%. FC didn't go down much also. I still manage to do my usual consumption despite many people saying that it affects FC. In conclusion, this 2 mod is more than enough to improve on comfort in handling. If still want better handling then need to change suspensions which is silly if its only used for daily drive. |

QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Jul 25 2019, 01:58 PM) To be honest, bezza is damn fuel saving machine. With the same amount of fuel in litre, you just pay lesser in money. Give you an example, i pay around RM80 to RM90 to cruise until 450km for my another car. With bezza, i just need to pump RM50 or less to cruise more than 450km. Agreed on the FC. I'm driving an auto variant. Going up and down from Genting to Subang used up about 2 bars only. That is speeding like those Genting Taxi drivers up and tons of engine breaking on the way down.I dont understand why still got people say bezza not fuel saving and say only can go 200km or more....With engine break in or not break in, it still save like hell. Of course, another explanation that those who complaint one really dont own bezza and just talk cock only.... |

For a RM 41,000 car made in Malaysia and 5 star N-CAP, this is a good deal for those seeking at this price range. If compared with the latest Vios, the only worthy comparison is the size of the engine and body. If someone wants more features such as better stereo, more safety features, bigger rims and etc, you can consider the price gap and affordability.
What swept most people off their feet is the bang for buck you get from this Bezza. Be realistic and compare apple with apple. If I'm comparing this to Proton, I'd say I can wake up everyday knowing my car will start and work right. Formerly owned a Savvy, I can say buy a car you need and can. Keep working smarter if you want to drive a better, more luxurious car. Save now and you can eventually upgrade by leaps and bounds to your dream car. At least this car won't leave you stranded by the road side and kill you. |

QUOTE(KKLeong @ Jul 27 2019, 05:06 PM) Yup. A lot better than Ecopia ori tyres. Quiet is the first noticeable feature. I could finally listen to my radio without blasting the volume. Great traction on wet road, improved overall handling. Price is half of Michelin XM2 which is why I thought of giving it a try even if it doesn't last as long as Michelin, I can buy 2 sets of Toyo. Plus you never know when your tyres are damage and may need to change sooner than expected so at this price, I feel its the best for me. |

Stock battery for premiumX, still using since Oct2017. Yesterday went to normal regular service at service center, been told that battery has weaker CCA, see attached photo. They asked if want to replace, and I asked what is the replacement model, they said it is ASTRA (Rm180), and current stock one is Panasonic. Have you guys heard of Astra? Anyway since battery indicator said Good Battery, so I won’t change it for now. Actually the same thing been told during April2019 service also that the battery was weaker, but could use till today.

QUOTE(jackielya @ Jul 27 2019, 04:34 PM) Agreed on the FC. I'm driving an auto variant. Going up and down from Genting to Subang used up about 2 bars only. That is speeding like those Genting Taxi drivers up and tons of engine breaking on the way down. just to share information.https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a1...-than-coasting/ Tl-dr; Engine braking conserves more fuel. (higher fuel efficiency) Use engine braking whenever possible and never coast in neutral. For safety and fuel economy reasons. You save lives (coasting in neutral is always not recommended as you may overheat brakes, you may not respond as quickly if you need to suddenly accelerate to swerve, your speed may be too high) You save brake pads (engine braking regulates the speed for you. it's perfectly fine for the engine as long as you dun engine braking in the redlines) You save fuels (fuel injector cuts off fuel while you engine brake) Win-win Long information: Newer cars with will have fuel injectors cut-off fuel when detected engine braking / zero gas pedal depression when car is in gear. As the tire is spinning and your transmission is engaged, the wheels will provide rotational force to keep the engine running, and thus, the engine can choose to shut off the fuel input until it detects it needs a little bit fuel where it will pump in a little fuel and continue to cut off after that. If you leave your car in neutral, the car will assume you are stationary, and continue to behave as though you are idling on neutral even if you're speeding down the slope. You may try this with any cars that have real time fuel usage indicator (like Jazz / City / Almera). Go down a slope. engage a lower gear and let engine braking do its job, then lift off the gas pedal. You will notice the fuel usage will drop to 0 and occasionally blip up and then back to 0 again. I have tested this with my persona on routes that I often drive. If I engage higher gear, and brake during descending, or in neutral and brake during descending, the fuel consumption is actually more than if I engage a lower gear and utilize engine braking during descending. P/s: also to add on, driving under load while outside of power band range, also consumes more fuel. Try performing a genting run while keeping your rpm around 2-3k vs 3-4k. If you're trying to accelerate or trying to go up hill or ferrying full load of ppl, always try to keep your car in the power band range (3-5k rpm). You will get better fuel economy. Low rpm is meant for cruising (maintain same speed at slight decline or flat road) This post has been edited by tctham: Jul 30 2019, 10:34 AM |

QUOTE(spreeeee @ Jul 31 2019, 05:52 PM) loli'm just 3 months earlier than u... but thru my years of owning cars, the countless times i have been left in a lurch in the middle dunno where has been very frustrating during the moments of inconvenience... now, i can look back and lol, until it happens again... so, now i'm thinking to get it to a battery shop to get it checked and decide to change early or not... |
