Guys may I know average how much do your pay per visit for service???

Don't know why I am paying around rm300 per service visit?? Next service they want to do something with the aircon and got quoted rm400 for the next visit.

Also how often do you need to change brake fluids? My car is 3 years old and they haven't change it yet...
*
just follow this:

http://www.perodua.com.my/service-maintenance

anything extra is additional profits for service center.. and those extra ones are also different from one center and another..

in addition, alignment and aircond service, perodua service center executive also hinted to me to do outside.. not worth the price doing in perodua.. expensive..

My car came with Hankook Kinergy EX
175/65/R14.

Was wondering if there's any advice from you guys about going  for wider tires, or bigger rim?

I know going bigger rim/wider tire, you're going to sacrifice the eco advantage already (assuming that Perodua engineers already calculated the optimum settings for Bezza to be 175/65/R14)

I cruised from Tapah stop to Sg Petani and from Sg. Petani back to KL. Total mileage is 564.1km. I achieved 22.2km per litre along the trip and i only spent RM0.098/km. This bezza is really berbeza from other segment A car.....and the reason why i choose back the bezza after i sold it once...haha tongue.gif

sold bezza, buy bezza? hmm.gif

4 months ago at SC, was advised battery not good: MEASURED: 228CCA, RATING 260CCA. But car still can start, hence no change battery.

Yesterday at SC, was advised battery not good again: MEASURED:157CCA, RATING: 260CCA. Yet I still choose not to change the battery. Perhaps wait till its last breath.. LOL.

What you guys think? To change or not change? Battery was stock since Oct2017.

Also wonder why VOLTS reading is different.

Get yourself a multimeter. Set it at 20V.

Then self check every month.

First let headlamps (engine off) on for about 2 minutes. Then check battery. If reads 12.5v above. Battery still good.

Then somehow monitor multimeter when u crank the engine on, if during that time voltage 10v above, battery still good.

Then once engine on, turn all all auxillary equipments (headlight, radio, aircon etc.). If multimeter reading more than 13.8v, your alternator and battery good.

Great tips, thanks. Any recommendation on multimeter? I think just need a basic and good enough one, don’t want invest too much or bought wrong one.

seriously stock's horn sounds like cat meow-ing.. nobody cares or pay attention when press on horn.

i'm looking to upgrade it to 'angry-er' one.. and would it void any parts' warranty?

Finally, after many studies and readings and on-site-shops-learning, I have upgraded the rim and tyre.

Simple summary as below :-

Perodua Bezza 1.3 Premium X stock rim:
14 x5J ET45, was on Continental CC6 185/60/R14

Upgraded to SSR Type-C RS Thai rim:
15 x6.5JJ ET38

Total Damage = RM1110, Breakdowns:
Rim = RM680
Steel valve = RM40/4pcs
Allen key nuts (dark grey) = FOC/16pcs
Centre alloy cone = RM50/4pcs
Yokohama Bluearth ES32 fully imported from Japan = RM185/pc
(Tyre spec 195/55/R15, Treadwear 300, Y3919)
Balancing = FOC
Alignment = FOC
Trade in stock rim/tyre = -RM400

Hope it was a good deal, but I'm satisfied with the deal (not my first time deal with the boss).

Initially was eyeing on very nice rim, but it is ET35, which the rim/tyre after fit would 'looks' came out from body, i.e. not inline to body vertically.

As only first day driving after fitting today, had a chance drove on dry (city-drive) and then rain at the late evening (both city/highway-drive), perhaps new tyres - overall impression was very good, no aquaplan like CC6. Quietness- more or less the same as CC6, but handling is much better/secure. More review after few weeks drive perhaps..

My fren has the same profile & rear tyres were rubbing the wheel arc when the car was loaded with total 5 pax incl. driver. Even when not loaded, going over uneven road in slightly higher speeds over resulted in the rear tyres rubbing the rear wheel arcs.
*
after weeks of driving on new rim/tyre 195/55/15, yes - it does rub the rear fender when fetch 2 big sizer, or 3 medium sizer at the rear seats. however, if solo hardly will rub; unless go thru very uneven or wavy road with certain speed (i assume like 70-80kmh).

however, it is very nice ride with this profile.. very steady and comfortable.. fuel consumption very slightly increase with same driving pattern.

Hey guy, I am one of those guys who change the tyre to 195/55/15 and now I suspect my drive shaft is giving trouble. Do you happen to know will perodua honor my warranty or are they going to say since I change tyre I have to pay for the drive shaft?
*
how does the shaft problem looks/sounds like?
how long u have been driving with new tyre?
how old is the bezza?

I see....then this tyre conversion wont work for me as the Bezza is not a lifestyle car for me & should not rub the wheel arc if I carry passengers. I remain in my current profile & just switched to Viking Protech PT6 185/55/R15 mfg in 49/19 which is pretty new stock. Am happy with this new Viking tyres too.
*
185/55/R15 is perfect

my 1st mod of the bezza...
the brakes...
try the ferodo for bezza...
i've had experience with ferodo before..
now smarter and not get medium race but non-race cos even the mediums need time to heat up and then only start to be effective...

for the bezza, non race is good enuf imo..
*
how is the dust amount produced?
i acutally bought Bendix General CT for standby..

Saw the new Bezza on the road

Front looks very nice and ganas... But behind looks so ugly with the rear red reflector bumpers

QUOTE(singk @ Jan 26 2020, 11:18 PM)
the front is indeed nice looking. but the rear bumper, the 2 patches of black plastics make it fugly. it should had been more subtle. not so extreme.
