Stock battery for premiumX, still using since Oct2017. Yesterday went to normal regular service at service center, been told that battery has weaker CCA, see attached photo. They asked if want to replace, and I asked what is the replacement model, they said it is ASTRA (Rm180), and current stock one is Panasonic. Have you guys heard of Astra? Anyway since battery indicator said Good Battery, so I won’t change it for now. Actually the same thing been told during April2019 service also that the battery was weaker, but could use till today.

QUOTE(lionn @ Aug 13 2019, 11:28 PM) QUOTE(lionn @ Aug 13 2019, 11:31 PM) What if I reverse park? Because in that case I will just shift from R to P with my foot brake on, before releasing foot brake, will pull handbrake. then after that only release foot brake. don't R straight to P-regardless of it is R/D/2/3/L -stop the car with foot brake on -engage to N -pull handbrake -release foot brake -engage to P -off engine |

QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Aug 26 2019, 11:40 AM) Hi for bezza fuel indicator, after the last bar drop means totally no bar left on the indicator, will the yellow fuel indicator keep blinking or just stay yellow color? How to utilize the total 36 litre of fuel? from my past experience, the [Range] had shown --- and the yellow Fuel indicator displayed constantly without blinking, i then drove to nearest pump station, and fully pumped until the mouth of the tank. checked at the reading/receipt, it was managed to fill in 31 litres. so, with the tank size of 36 litres, means there was leftover of 5 litres of petrol for me to survive. 5 litres can travel for another 85km if judging my AVG of 17km/l. but bet i won't take the risk! This post has been edited by spreeeee: Aug 26 2019, 04:23 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Aug 26 2019, 04:28 PM) I took the car with no bar indicator left. Suprisingly i only manage to pump in 29.725 litre. If my measurement is correct, you will have 6 litre balance left once your indicator bar becomes empty. Now 4 out of 8 bar left, the car travel in 275km...not bad right? i don't read the bar(s), it is not accurate.. |

QUOTE(jtan.pdr @ Sep 10 2019, 09:10 AM) Had a flat tire I didn't realize and spoilt a tire by driving on the sidewall.. suggest not to take cc6Gonna change the Bridgestone ecopia to continental cc6. Got 2 to try during the 9.9 sale on lazada. Will have one ecopia with abt 50% thread wear left for any grab members here who may want it.. I'm gonna throw it away anyway (leave it at the shop) Tire will be at Taman Midah, Cheras within the next few days when the tire seller makes an appointment on when to change.. Or if u want a new 2 year old ecopia spare tire, u can pay me rm xx and pay for transferring old tire to spare rim, incl balancing and wallah.. Otherwise, its just gonna age longer as a spare tire anyway.. Luckily my son was with me when we had the flat.. So I made him change it as a kemahiran lesson.. Or u can call it child labour.. Lol |

QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Sep 11 2019, 05:58 PM) Been driving almost 60k+, groove still looks good, tireman said can go for another 30k, estimate. Cc6 thread-wear is 380, which is quite high for normal passenger tire. This post has been edited by spreeeee: Sep 11 2019, 07:04 PM |

Can Bezza 1.0/1.3 filled with ron100? Reason being somebody give suggestion not to use the fuel injector cleaner as suggested by SA, but instead fill empty tank with ron100 (maybe 1/3 tank) to actually does the cleaning job better? Also save some bucks from getting the fuel injector cleaner.

QUOTE(jtan.pdr @ Sep 19 2019, 12:52 AM) i dont think 1 tank can do that much... Importantly can the small engine accept with high Ron, any bad impact? Any technical expertise?its supposed to be a regular process done over time to maintain efficiency. come to think of it, i didnt choose the cleaner in my last service cos i can get it out side and i forgot about it... now that u reminded me... which also means that i dont use cleaners... mabbe i'll give it a go... |

QUOTE(singk @ Sep 19 2019, 12:52 PM) the engines are tuned for ron95 minimum, with the high compression ratio of bezza engine, ron97 is a tat better than ron95 as it able to reduce knocking, but then, the gain is so subtle that you won't feel it, and even the gain in the fc will not able to offset the additional cost for ron97. if you really wanna clean your injectors, i personally think that slam in a bottle of techron concentrate will be helpful. ron97 fuel is euro4m standard which is lesser sulphur so i believe you will get a cleaner combustion chamber with lesser sulphur deposit and also cleaner emission, but then, malaysian (the rakyat and the government) give no damn about emission (unlike EU countries) what other brand beside caltex techron+ ? |
