5200 got CS and CZ version. 5600 above are all CZ.
Btw Tailow, a noob question here.
Can KVR800 can be OCed? If yes, how far can it be OCed in stable setting?
Thanks.
*
Yup. Sorry being busy body laugh.gif
It can be oc ed of course. 1000Mhz with CAS4 should be no problem, but depend on batch and vdimm pumped as well.

Thanks.
Ooo, my KVR800 is from 2 different batches.  hmm.gif

Depend on your luck then, hope that both ram have nice overclockability.
But, IMO, 1000Mhz with CAS5 should not be a problem.

I can hit 3G with 1.425v . My proc is made in malaysia and diffused in Germany.  1.55v to hit 3G .... sweat.gif  sorry to say but your proc can go nowhere further
*
QUOTE(cyberloner @ Jul 26 2007, 01:17 AM)
i already hit it's limit...
hope u prime 24 hours to show it is stable at 1.425 -.-
i never get good cpu with low vcore + high clock ... same as athlon 2500+ 2600+ 2800+ 939 3000+ am2 3800+ now brisbane 3600+ sigh
*
I hit 3G with 1.45. A bit more than dblooi. 1.55 a bit too high. I can hit 3.1 - 3.2G with that vcore. Yup, prime stable with that setting.

QUOTE(capriodimitri @ Jul 26 2007, 08:00 AM)
Mine Brisbane is made from Malaysia but I notice some 3600+ tend made in China. This is the best PSU that I can come up with my budget. It say 500W true power, hopefully it's good enough. I am looking for 8600GT as I am not heavy gamer, any suggestions?

Can somebody tell me the price of Corsair Twin 2X 1gbX2 6400 price? Is it good enough? My budget is over coz spend too much on the mobo. M2N32 SLI Deluxe is the one of the best OC boards for AM2. The one you refer is M2N-E/M2N-E SLi. The power/limit/bios is totally diff.
*
Twinx not bad if u no hardcore overclocker.
Twinx (rev 1.x) is good, other batch seem using other chips which are not as good as those supreme d9 chip.

Hi guys, new to OC here... I've a question regarding differences of OC with BIOS and within Windows with things like ntune. Does it make a difference?
*
Yea. One is oc from bios, one is in windows laugh.gif Joking icon_rolleyes.gif
IMO, it is recommended to do overclock from mobo bios.

Well when I OC from BIOS the max i can get is 235mhz but from windows with ntune i can pretty much set it at 250mhz FSB

My limitation is with my MB which is a Asus M2NPV-VM with Brisbane 3600
*

Using ntune with 250MHz, is it stable?
Try to Orthos for around 8 hours.

If BIOS, u get only 235MHz, why dun you add some vcore to it? But for Brisby, even stock vcore can go around 2.6-2.7GHz already

Ran orthos fine for 8hours last night. Though temp reported by Asus PC Probe is 50-52c. CoreTemp reports about 30c for each core. Which is more reliable?
*
CoreTemp is wrong due the DTS is broken.
And do remember that Core Temp will be more higher than CPU Temp.

Yup, all hardwares just fine.
Just as dblooi said, your ram will be a problem if you plan to overclock.

3.2GHz for 1.3v? What aspect does this affect, PSU? Or processor batch? Motherboard?
*
That is the bug for cpu-z to report Vcore.
If i am not mistaken, dblooi already used more than 1.5 vcore.
