Use Everest to show all the temperatures.Higher? Of course can, just ensure ur overclock is stable by running Orthos.

QUOTE(likito @ Jul 14 2007, 06:02 PM) hi , i having a big problem oc my rig You have to add vcore for it already. i set the 238*10 = 2380mhz with vcore 1.4 , ram vcore 1.9v . overall system performance stable . when i keep on increasing +1mhz . the system become unstable . run orthos load temp is 70c(stock fan) . testing 3dmark which is around 60c . . . wat should i do to improve my overall overclock ? pc spec see my signature Last time my windsor 38 need 1.5x to reach 2.5Ghz. FYI, my windsor 38 is 89W one. And yes, as byfc2010 said, windsor is much more difficult to oc if compared to brisbane -pWs- |

QUOTE(GHz1 @ Jul 20 2007, 12:05 AM) Really high and really scared d. I couldn't prime even at that high.. Btw, any tips to reach that speed @1.475v Depend on your hardware batch actually. Some can achieve with low Vcore, some high Vcore. Limitation? It might be both or one of them -pWs- |

Yes... Windsor with default voltage can achieve 2.5GHz indeed a very good result.
Last time, I using Windsor when achieve 2.5GHz, already pump quite a lot of Vcore. -pWs- |

Got any difference?cpu-z validation page: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=219196 And can u use 667MHz divider when u achieve 3GHz which cannot be done with your previous board? -pWs- |

QUOTE(dblooi @ Jul 21 2007, 08:57 PM) hi , vcore has no problem .. i've tried to raise the vcore to 1.71v for testing purpose, no problem at all. Ya this board don't have the" memory divider bug",u can see from the screenshot, i'm using 667 divider That is nice. So, it is confirmed that the nforce4 having problem with brisbane in 667MHz divider. Problems are: 1) clockgen is not supported yet 2) max vdimm 2.44v only 3) safe mode as sensitive as usual the rest yet to be discovered.... QUOTE(ronaldjoe @ Jul 23 2007, 07:24 AM) I got mine from US before it was launched in Malaysia. Wow...CZ. Borrow me one night. It was freaking expensive. I shouldn't have bought it. -pWs- |

QUOTE(dblooi @ Jul 23 2007, 10:59 AM) B4 that i was using windsor 3800+ ...same problem also , but that 3800+ cannot push further anymore so i thought it is bottlenecked by the proc . After swap to brisbane, I've realized that actually it is chipset problem. Ermm...weird. But my windsor can use 667Mhz divider but my brisbane cant. But look at this, Pi result of pcmoddingmy. He is using DFI Infinity NF UltraII-M2 (BIOS D711) , same as yours i think. Proc 3.1GHz and ram 1042 , he is definitely using 667 divider during that time. Click here for more detail : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/321443/+20 How come pcmodding can ? Really dunno the reason why causing this. I just waiting Phenom to be out. Aiming for that, dun wan spend money on motherboard already -pWs- |

QUOTE(dblooi @ Jul 23 2007, 11:13 AM) and 1 more , Brisbane has higher L2 cache latency, that's why it runs slower than windsor in SPi. Wow. How much vcore you pumped? 3.25GHz But got pros also, can OC high. I've just realized that 3.25GHz is not the limit of my proc yet... can push a little bit further. Hope can enter Pi 1M 26sec during next try -pWs- |

@dblooi
You have a try using below ram timing. I think can score better super pi than you do now. CAS# Latency: 4 RAS# and CAS# Delay: 4 RAS Precharge: 4 Cycle Time(TRas): 12 Bank Cycle Time(Trc): 15 -pWs- This post has been edited by -pWs-: Jul 24 2007, 02:05 PM |

QUOTE(dblooi @ Jul 24 2007, 04:26 PM) as you wish If i am not mistaken, my rig with 3005MHz and 430Mhz (4-4-4-12) is around 29s.take a look at the memset sub-timing. I even adjust them for the best performance. Useless, still slower than my previous result edited: i din tune the subtiming MAL as my pc will hang sometimes once i adjust it. Suppose it should be adjusted . Never mind, later i go back check and let u know tomorrow -pWs- |

QUOTE(dblooi @ Jul 24 2007, 04:48 PM) haha. Thanks alot. Btw, you can take a look at this article ( if you can read chinese). Thanks.. http://bbs.ocer.net/viewthread.php?tid=138056&highlight= It shows the relationship between those ram timing and usage of them. The author is OPB , an OC master from taiwan. He still got a lot of articles that teach people how to set ram timing and some OS tweak in order to run PI faster. Can try to google it Yup...i can read chinese, but the company's computer cant read chinese Will look through it when i got my internet connection. -pWs- |
