Regarding your question on gathering commander, yes. You should level your gathering commander beyond lv10 to get those speed bonus on gathering food, wood, stone and gold. Otherwise, it will take longer to gather rss.

Focus on the rarer ones first like Cleo > Joan > Constance > Sarka. You can send 4 troops to gathering once you reach City Hall 17. If you have extra EXP books, you can train those low rarity gathering commanders as 2nd commander for little extra speed bonus based on their skill level.

If you are F2P, put some priority on some Jungler hero too like Boudica or Lohar. Let the P2W members build the commanders for attacking cities and PvP. You'll need at least one Jungler to farm barbarians for EXP and rubies.

Not bad for a Freemium game. Feel like an MMORTS. Gameplay emphasize more on having a good Alliance so Pay2Win is harder.

The boost and speed up reward is very generous and as long you can join a good alliance you can enjoy a lot without In App purchase.

Only thing sometime stress if your Alliance leader is in different timezone and organize Rally in an inconvenient time for you.

Main priority is to join an active Alliance.

i up my gatherer cuz extra bonus speed. I currently using Rome general, Scipio africans. Gonna max him soon. max your general so that he can carry more troops when you alliance at war. Or attacking barb fortress also quite useful.

Being a R4 officer or a leader is so tiring. Anyone else is holding these post in the alliance?

Ah, good to see a thread on this game. My alliance is so full of foreigners that i do not know any Malaysian in game.

Addictive indeed, but end of the day i think this is very much a pay2win game. If you are very competitive gamer/person stay out of this game, otherwise u gonna burn a lot of money. If you are a leisure gamer, then join a strong alliance, the free gems from events will help you a lot. And those P2W angmoh will help to def anyway during war, so joining a strong alliance is really important.

I started a few days earlier than you, i think just my day 13. I dont know, lol yet to meet one. Mostly mat salleh (EU + americans) and some chinese (PRC i guess since they type in chinese characters).

I heard that they release a new kingdom on daily basis. All the players are so spread out that i dont think it's possible for LYN to group up?

Its better to have a mix of people from different timezone. Else, enemies can easily burn down your flags when everyone's sleeping.

this game has 1 big problem, you must travel 40 min to take a 5 min fight, this is sad

Pump a Cavalry Commander with full Cav T2 troop. + a secondary Cav commander and Cav ONLY troop, you will reduce the travel time by almost 50%, that is 40 mins to about 20 mins. Use this method to do your barb forts. Otherwise your clan mates gonna curse you for the 40 mins travel time.

Of course if it's a full blown alliance war, you gonna have to teleport.

Same, this is my first mobile war game too. Looking at the amount of free chest i get from my alliance everyday, people are spending crazy money on this.

I saw a video that to have a full skilled legendary commander, it will cost at least USD1000 each. And to skill an Epic commander is about USD200 each. Convert them to MYR and i'm mind blown.

This is a farking Pay2Win game. lol. And the latest Halloween quest, you have to spend gems to complete quest. WTF

i play straight two week already. addicted game i would say.

I have played for over two months. First time was a disaster not knowing what to do and what not to do. Then end up activities in my alliance getting slow and there's no war since every neighbor became allies. Took over as the leader for 3 days before I decide its time to move on and started in a new server. Now I'm a R4 officer of my alliance in the new server and things are much more interesting there. My alliance was forced to move twice by powerful alliance and now we settled in one of the region with a family of 3 other alliances. One word of advice, allies cannot be trusted especially if they are allies with your aggressor (who's much stronger) as well.

Yup learnt that the hard way. My 1st big alliance was a top 5 in the kingdom. Was happily gathering and building for 3-4 days then one close ally declared war coz someone in our alliance farmed one of their sanctum guardian. Yup only attacked 1 guardian, cos that guy was new and curious about this guardian thingy. The ally TP'ed to our land and annihilated everyone. I couldnt farm at all for 3 days and the alliance leader just gave up. I couldnt TP elsewhere either cos im a F2P and used up all my scrolls and gems. Lol TP'ed once i have collected enough gems.

Now I'm in a top 2 alliance, i have become more wary. When it's peaceful, gather and build as farking fast as you can. Use up all your speed ups and so on. cos you'll never know when a big whale alliance gonna war with your alliance. Peace is just temporary in this game. Oh, and that alliance i mentioned earlier, they declared war with my my current alliance too. Muahahaha but there are many whales in my current one, and they were badly countered and had disbanded since. Revenge is sweet.

I am sure that's just an excuse for them to wipe out competition. Anyway, you've had a sweet revenge there. Wished I could have my revenge too. Too bad my aggressor is a top 3 alliance while mine is just a top 25.

Lv6 got 1.5M wood, food. The map also bigger. Damn fun wei. But I didn't really compare if the cost of upgrade/research/training raised anot la.

I'm from Kingdom #60 in top 10 Clan. However game is getting bored for me because we are being controlled by those stronger allies (we are not as strong as those clan with p2w players even tho im vip9). They get all the good shrines and altars and we can only take those they don't need anymore. So my game is all about farming and afk.

If anyone happen to start a new server please let me know. Better if in a group would be more fun.

Yeah. About the same as my current situation. I think we should join a strong alliance from early game if you are spending a bit and able to stay inside that alliance without being kicked out. Now Lv 3 Pass has been occupied and most of the the alliance who made it into region 3 are in a coalition, the rest of us can only play farmville in region 1 and wished them good luck in capturing the Lost Temple and later on Kingdom vs Kingdom.
Anyway, I am not going to start new anytime soon until I'm really bored in this kingdom. I just started training T4 units and haven't had the chance to test them on the field.

i am from earlier, kingdom 35, just got Lost temple.

My advice is work your way as fast as possible til level 21 castle then only start farming n do those upgrades u missed, because at 21, u can dispatch 5 troops to farm

Do you mind if I ask how fast is fast? Being F2P, I think it will take more than 30 days to get to lv21.

Yeah. You just need to upgrade whichever building is necessary to upgrade the City Hall.
The helps are fastest when the server just started and everyone is spamming the Help.

need to join an active alliance as quickly as you can and be active.
good to have players from different timezone to attack and defend when we are sleeping..

i can do it within 40 days, dont save your speed boost, use them to upgrade fast.

keep you troops at 250k to 300k, anything more than 300k, burn then by hitting enemy's base for resources.

i have another farm account, i am using it to farm resources then transfer back to my main in same map.

Yeah. I should probably start a farm for myself. The building upgrade and research cost are crazy for CH21 and the T4 units.
On another note, I just noticed that lv21 CH does not unlock 5th troop. It was lv22 which is where I'm struggling to upgrade to right now. That City Hall alone needs 24.3M food, 24.3M wood and 10.6M stone. Not including lv21 Hospital (which requires lv21 Archer range) and lv21 Wall (which requires lv21 Quarry and lv21 Tavern). All in all that's over 100M needed.

yes i was wrong, its 22 lv, i see many high kills players at 4-5mil power when reaching level 22, that explains how they get from 4-5 mil power to double up to 10 mil power within few days because of the farms and T4 they have, farm and own high ranks in event.

Lol. Tempted? You need to know that his skills cannot be upgraded with Legendary sculptures. You can only buy more VIP chest to get his sculptures. So, get him only if you buy enough VIP chest to upgrade his 1st skill to lv5.

Everything went well and our kingdom manage to capture the Lost Temple last weekend. Glad to be able to do that before the difficulty is increased.
You just need keep the members of the alliance to keep reinforcing the rally and get help as many help as possible from other alliances to kill the Believer and Guardians. One thing to take note for those assigned to stop Believer is to set Sarka or Cao Cao as 2nd commander to slow them down.

A peaceful kingdom is a boring kingdom. Players start feeling bored when there's no war and what we do everyday is farming resource. If there's in-game event like King of the Tribe, Clarion Call, Karuak Ceremony or Mightiest Governor, only the alliance with most active members can compete for ranks. Guys, does your kingdom hold any event by yourself for the players? Can share how's your kingdom doing after the Lost Temple?

Depends on who they avoid lo. If that alliance has strong allies, then its wise to avoid unnecessary war. If really kecut and afraid of smaller alliance, then really sienz...

I know my members also sien without war de but when you enter late game liao, its mostly settled with diplomacy for the sake of KvK (but who knows when its coming though) and keeping the players safe from being zeroed.

Maybe you can join the Facebook page Rise of Civilizations Malaysia and see if there's any people who want to start new with you. But its better to play with people from different timezone. Else, your alliance will be caught defenseless during your sleep time.

Anyone completed Lv25 Christmas Tree? I've just reach lv22 and the Ornament drop rate became very low.

We had Karuak last week. So, we are lucky to escape this. But Karuak use a lot of AP too to make it to lv100 and helping others as well.

But those videos of people fighting Karuak warrior with Sun Tzu and then hit multiple barbarians on the map is so cool.

The secret? Kill Sanctum/Altar/Shrine Guardians. They drops the box too. It will be time consuming to compete with others for 1st rank. Also, use resource production boost and gather at lv2 node for extra box while you are off.

You're welcome. Just be prepared to kill a lot of them. Remember to send as many troops as you can at each of them.

Want to ask. What do you guys mean that we need kingdom ID to find the alliances ? The alliances search is only by name ?

Each alliance has a tag which can be up to 4 letters. You can check your Kingdom ID by zooming out on the map and press the button on the bottom right. Mine is #1065 and yours should be #12XX

Ahh. Okay. But I think it's on top left after zoom out. At the x-axis and y-axis.

When people mention "I am in kingdom xx" or " I am in server xx". What exactly does this two means ?

You can only join/search alliance in the same server/kingdom. Each server/kingdom is a big map. So, all the alliance in the kingdom will fight each other for territories, holy sites, Passes and finally the Lost Temple. After all these are over, your kingdom will be able to go for Kingdom versus Kingdom (but this KvK thing has not been opened yet).

If you really want to join a certain alliance in a different kingdom/server, you need to create another city in specific Kingdom (There's a Character Management in the Settings for you to create more cities).

Does the chat is only for those players in same kingdom? I think kingdom that I in have lots of Russian lol

Yeah. It is for that particular kingdom only.
If you still have the Beginner Teleport, then you can teleport to another Kingdom. The Beginner Teleport will be removed if your City Hall reaches lv8 and also, it expires in 10 days.

You don't need to request reinforcement unless someone is targeting your city (starting a rally on you). If you feel the need to, you can ask them through the alliance chat.

I'm 10mil power in kingdom 41. Cant wait for the ability to migrate kingdoms wanna see what happens. Then kvk coming as well this year.

I expect Lilith will also add a special item needed for the server migration like the Civilization Token and charge you 10K gem for them.

My main wall shows no damaged. And there is no button to click to repair wall

Your city is on fire or there's just smoke coming out of it?
Maybe your city is under attack but the attacker didn't get pass your defending troop and watchtower so the wall is undamaged.

Ours is quite peaceful too. So far, no war ever since the Lost Temple is captured.
And I think developer might restrict players from old kingdom moving to newer ones.

kvk is like coming chaos, almost every big alliances are merging to prep the kvk. lol..
