Agree..now ASNB is 75% of my total portfolio..only 25% in bursa...problem is stock is addictive investment, u wont able to exit full...must keep some..baru feel good

That's the problem of buying stock, easy to buy, don't know when to exit or take profit.

A financial crisis i.e. 50% drop could easily vanish all the gains (annualized 8%) in 10 years...

Must keep some baru feel good , sounds like hisap dadah.

Ya, I would raid uncle, if uncle said asnb only 1% allocation.

More or less same with veera77, just 25% not in bursa solely, but somewhere else, like UT.

One of my friend advise me 50% fd 50% asnb or keep 20%fd for emergency .
But I tak ada happy 4% so all in .

Foreign currency FD then can consider, as diversify low risk investment.

And when you read news got people jump from 14th floor, then can unload (portion) low risk investment into medium or high risk liao.

The most stressful in bursa is short-term trading e.g warrant trading and speculation trading...which i already exited fully few months ago...after cut loss at 50%..

Now in bursa i only do long-term investment using cost-averaging method on pre-selected high&mid cap dividend stocks..not much stress in this and no need to monitor stock during work time..

i usually pre-set buy/sell order at night and set limit order for one week...I don’t fish nowadays, just put a net and sleep...will get notification once order matched..

I think around 10years ago , Aussie drop till 2.3~2.5 . Now have to wait chance mali .

USD also drop (against MYR) till 3.0~3.3 at one point.

I called up HQ, they said can transfer from:
ASM -> ASM
ASM 2 -> ASM 2
ASM 3 -> ASM 3

Agents suppose know how to do also! But better go to ASNB branch to settle.

Off topic a bit, nowadays you can track your PM UT online at the PMO website. At least, can hentam your agent (not hentam but at least not just rely on your servicing agent) if got fund not performing and need to be re-diversified.
