Bear in mind, latest dividend from ASM1 is 6.25% and ASM2 ASM3 6%. Losing 7 months of interest/dividend in favor of 0.25% extra per annum is not worthwhile. Unless you really fancy the difficulty/rarity of ASM1.

I do have 1 or 2 FD maturing last week of Mar. That also I'm still contemplating should or should not wait for ASM1. Whether I get to buy a good amount the next few days will influence my decision between EPF or ASMx. Need to focus on work also.....

I thought after dividend, some people will cash out? Isn't that what everyone is hoping for?

aiyah. i used maybank to topup. it deducted my money and gave some error. now cannot buy (because money gone) and "missing money" not reflected on my ASN online also

Just called. They also cannot help because me no phone banking. If register now, need ATM card or some access code that I don't have. My maybank2me registered over 10 years ago, that time don't need ATM or anything.

They told me normally take 24 hours - 3 days to reflect on ASNB woh.

Later I go withdraw FD only ask the Maybank branch.


yeah earlier error was no units available. Then after a few tries from time to time, suddenly "successful" with some error.

Just went to nearest branch. They can't check now.

Apparently whole 1malaysia offline since 11.30am. maybe my transaction brought down their entire network.

Ambank online says offline until 12.15pm just now. When I went back later, it was revised to 2.30pm. What a day

ehhh you all keep trying la. don't blame me if lose opportunity woh. i also dont know when it'll be settled. They also dont know. And don't know can trade ASMx or not.

maybank2me did deduct $1 from me for that botched transaction. The transaction history of the deduction is there. Only no transaction number and don't know where the money went. It's just very different from other failed one that says instantly say no units available. I really hope that one went through big number (to me, not to 高人 like you all).

if you plan to open, open the most basic savings account. Then no need pay annual ATM fee.

There's more clicks required for maybank2me. And have to keep typing in the number you want to buy each time you try. More or less same like captcha already. Only reason I use maybank2me is to see can win that 500 units or not. now 賠了夫人又折兵

ASM3 ah? I managed to sapu 800 in total. Missed 2x450 before that because bank claims i double login and rejected me. Really a lot easier than ASM2.
