actually with the option of rm15 to transfer units, is there any rationale to put in money for kids when they are young?

EPF, ASNB and Bursa stock, all three are confirmed tax-exempted, at least till end of 2019, as never mentioned in 2019 Budget to imposed tax. So status-quo of tax-exemption remain same.

“Tabung Haji's shares in Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd (BIMB) were sold so as to show profit before being repurchased, which also incurred brokerage fees.”

"Although the above transactions appear commercial, we understand that the intention was to enable Tabung Haji to report higher profits for the purpose of distribution to the depositors.

This what im seriously worry if PNB doing the same trick...selectively realised profit to show profit and pay divided:(

Tunggu 1jan2019...ASB earning/profit and dividend would be the benchmark...then can decide...

My UOB CASA is giving 3.65% (daily interest calc) and my mortgage interest 4.51%....that is myPlan B, for worst case scenario..in case PNB also found doing hanky-panky accounting..

With the case of TH exposed...i believe PNB, EPF, ASH and other govt-linked trust fund, would be more careful in their accounting, financial statement and dividend payout..

I prefer to receive dividend from earning profit only...seriously i would not be happy if i get dividend from reserve or by hidding impairment loss....

paying dividend from other than profit, is sign of shinking ship...u must get your safety jacket on...

I believe ASNB reply the email, once they dispatch the calender mail..

Bcoz last year i receive the calender mail, one week after receive the email.

So, if u receive email reply...then it’s confirmed u wil get calender...

klu xdpt email reply, then faham2 lah stock dah habis..

be careful that they didn't update the address in their system for future mails.
*
Oopps..yeah true..if u provide different adreess than in the system..

After received calendar, better check in MyASNB - Maklumat Peribadi...to see address changed or not..if changed..then edit back to ur original address..

same here..
but got forummer said needed to add funds subscribed too..
since I give No Ahli, they should know what funds I subscribe right.. just click the info. everything appears on the system  brows.gif
*
Yes true..
I believe they give calendar based on, one account number, one calender..not based on number fund u subscribed...

otherwise if u are bumi and subscribed all FP & VP fund...u end up get more than 10 calenders per person..lol

The main indicator from ASB dividend is..max dividend for 2018/2019 ASM, ASW2 and ASM3 are 6%..and minumum would be 5.5%...

But still depending US/China market and other Regional market..which could effect our Bursa..and may impact PNB equity return..

Seem PNB under Zeti already diversifying out from equity to other investment...at least we are confident that PNB is in right hand smile.gif

“During the year, PNB remained focus on diversifying its portfolio assets, relocating more cash into fixed income and global assets.”

For ASM maybe yes, for ASM2 and ASM3, this indicator could be outdated.

Just wait and see, as long as there is no better safe investments, even dividend just higher than FD/house loan 0.5% you would still remain here...
*
Yes main benchmark is FD/mortgage interest rate..and i beleive PNB well-aware on this crucial benchmark...otherwise there will huge withdrawal especially from ASM/ASW2/ASM3...

Currently mortage interest rate is around 4.5-5.0%...
