for your info, all telco unlimited data plan is not support p2p/torrenting. but u can use those premium service to convert torrent to direct download.

for speed wise, is really depends on each tower/area. it wont be same for everyone, and see your indoor coverage too strong or weak. wireless broadband speed is unconsistent

better save up abit for b618 as support 4G+,

b612 no 4G+,, only good is with 4x4mimo good for those indoor weak signal. no 5ghz wifi.

well u using i150. u can use stock version/new unit. wont be any issue modified/unlock version too.

well is quite ok for the price RM4xx can get a 4G+ modem with 5ghz iwfi, only not good it's 2x2mimo only

there got b612 too, not support 4G+, 4x4mimo for a 4G modem price rm4xx or 5xx ald.. not remember.. hehe..

if plan to use indoor 24/7 not travel much like ON n off. better is stick with CPE modem.

mifi mostly got heat issue, when signal weak & etc also will generate extra heat, reboot, shutdown n etc

even CPE also will generate heat. not sure those who use b618 notice or not expecially the sim slot area/bottom parts.. is hot.

cause u are using wireless broadband. with just 1cm different u locate the modem or direction. speed various is high too.

for initial checking is, u get a prepaid digi simpack and buy daily internet..check from peak hr n off peak. using hp as initial checking first.

b618, even 2nd i think is hardly to get RM5xx.. sure sold out in secs. 65d TM no longer offer old plan, so u cant get new set too. cause they release for unifi air plan contract for streamyx user only.

shopee selling rm 6xx~7xx consider cheap2 ald for 65d.

as for now, 22d unlock set, and 65d new set is hard to find and stock is getting lesser and lesser.

those are telco frequency band support by the modem.

basically what to know is if u using YES mobile/ unifi mobile then u need to choose.
22d got b20 for YES
65d got b5 for unifi mobile.

if using D, M, U & sialcom no need to worry as major 4G is using b3 & b7

if u looking at 4G modem only.. can get huawei b310 2nd ..cheap2.. or any others brand 2nd cheap2 also can get ald..RM2xx..

will, i would still suggest get huawei b310 as this modem 2nd also still have value. not like others. incase someday u plan to use cheaper infinite data plan telco.

YES is support Volte. make sure activated on digi side.


careful buy cheap2 unit b612 or b618. as some huawei units, seem bugged. even flash firmware still bug. technically the modem hardware support b3 n b7..but not sure why it's only support b20 or so on...careful/watch before u buy.

seller said got volte and 4G+ la.....

but i dont like the design.. price RM7xx... 4G+ modem price range ok la... with 4x4mimo and 4G+. still cheaper than retail price for b618 aka RM1.1k~1.2k... so judge your self la... which one is better if u can still get around the price...

search around fb too la... today i saw 2nd 65d RM5xx... sold in secs... haha..good luck finding.. anyway how, better to be cod or via shopee... check item before receive or lazada... too many scammer this days.

b618-22d is more risky when buy, due to lock set after firmware updated..many are affected.

1. b528 i think is not 4x4mimo. so what the price range for it.. i'm not remember.

if just 2x2mimo, the 4g+ just like e5186 n b525 also. why need pay extra

anyway worth it or not for 4x4mimo modem, do check your indoor coverage 1st..as i posted earlier regarding of different poor coverage vs strong indoor coverage. even a normal 4G modem with 2x2mimo also good if your indoor reception is strong. we not said must get b618 la.... haha..later someone said we help promo b618...likely is my own design modem/brand

so so indoor signal


good indoor signal single band speed test b3 & b7 b310 vs b618. if compare 4G+ of coz b618 win.

no ba... even after u finish the contract 24month the modem u still need return back. they not selling the modem.

as for users ald review, the modem is sim lock with sticker attachd on the sim slot. however is running old firmware v11.

seem like taobao sales modem nowadays is telco lock units. cant use here.
