I believe there is another cheaper plan for RM38, not sure if it's called Postpaid 38, but would that work if one is converting to the Infinite 150 plan? I asked the customer service that called me from DiGi HQ regarding the rebate and she said that DiGi will revise the promotion offer from time to time, so safe to say that we can expect something more exciting in the near future.
*
The RM38 plan won't work, I've tried as well.
The rep told me that plan is not eligible for the upgrade.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 20 2019, 10:19 AM)
I'm going to apply one later. Keep for one month and if the rebate is gone, I also cancel this plan.

"Investment" huh? biggrin.gif

No it is new simcard can text out just can’t use in 65d.
Some say need modify curious on it

Device i buy my own is 65d can use for all telco
*
What do you mean by "can text out"?

The plan doesn't have unlimited hotspot, thus it can't be used on the B618 as effectively as the i150.

i think since yesterday my i150 speed  limited to 10 DL 10 UL. is this throttled?or digi doing maintainance ?
*
Did you hit the 1024GB tethering limit? Do check you account for the internet usage.
And if so, do request for a quota reset with Digi.

Quota will be reset in 24-48 hours.

Hahaha... Yea.. I somehow hit it....

Already asked customer service. They take 10 minute to found out non congestion or technical issue but my quota. As I also didn't monitor it and never over quota before this.
*
haha, it's fine, just request for a reset then.
And seriously, 1TB is really small for heavy user(s).

Awesome. I never knew that we could request DiGi to reset our quota once hitting the 1TB limit. Assume after the reset, the speed will be back to normal rather than just limited to 10mbps?
*
True, I've requested for a few times now.
4K videos are really "huge" these days! Can't blame Digi for providing such decent speeds for 4G+ coverage. rclxms.gif

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Dec 7 2019, 10:35 AM)
Ya. 1tb actually small case if really using it.
I think digi just prevent abusing only.
I think ytd 8pm reported the quota issue, they say next day... Still yet recovering to full speed. Need test after working.
*
Just give it a wait then, sometimes they are fast, sometimes they are slow.

The website one is chat to a bot that can do nothing.....

You can actually just skip to chatting with a live representative on the live chat.

I would just type "live agent" and if any representatives are online, it would prompt you to select a language to continue.

Ok. This is just weird. Is it possible to lose 4G+ in an area where it was previously available?

Went back for a quick X'mas holiday and now that I'm back I've lost the 4G+ connection.

Tried individually connecting to B3 or B7 and both bands work, but when combining them doesn't get me the 4G+ or LTE-A.

malaysia 5G can use or not?  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

Nah, don't think so, the 5G is probably for the Wi-Fi standard or rather 5Ghz

You can see it in the last picture where the user shows the LTE frequencies it supports.

Well, talk about their "fast" quota reset, complaint made and case ID received at 4/25/2020 10:08:02, quota reset done at 4/25/2020 11:37:10

Not even 24 hours after telling me it takes 48-72 hours to forward the issue, just had to tell them that this is unacceptable during this MCO period.

I guess they are certainly "guilty" of the quiet implementation of throttling after 300 GB of usage.

Claims need 72hrs to reset, 5hrs later I received sms saying it is done. ranting.gif

Were they ever that efficient before?
Still, it's a win-win. rclxms.gif

Why ranting.gif? I don't understand. Isn't the faster the better?

Well, that's the standard script to not over-committing things, who knows may screw up later.
*
Used to be 24 hours at least from my experience, so MCO does have some advantages to it. Haha

Just received my B618S modem and used it on my i150 plan.

I dont notice any significant improvement in terms of speed as compared to using my P20, but the network is much more improved now. There's no occasional signal drop or line disconnected and i can even connect to the internet during heavy rain! Previously i was so frustrated that my area got rain during evening and it always slows down my connection but this time no such issues. Gonna give it few more days to try before can confirm this modem is really beast  biggrin.gif
*
The B618-65d or the B618-22d?
Either way the B618 does have a very strong internal antenna, no doubt it gonna provide a much stable connectivity.

** Is it just me or has the speed throttling after 300 GB rule been lifted?

I've hit the 300 GB mark this morning and I'm at 400 GB now, but the speeds are definitely maintaining at 80 Mbps or more.

Safe to say it has reverted back to the original 1 TB quota? biggrin.gif

Such a hassle to request reset quota, after all its suppose to be INFINITE!
(Even though it’s 1TB  icon_idea.gif )

Tell me about it.

Every single time I reset my quota I would bring up the matter to them and claiming it's unfair to us especially when the MCO is in effect, they should have been doing the opposite instead of lowering the quota.

They still apply the capped at 300gb.now i also kena. Fuck up la, my weekend with slow Internet. Who cs that pick up my call later at 10am gonna get fry, sorry.

Those who get capped, please report to mcmc, so next time they wont dare do it again.

I hope digi will hunt the illegal hotspot users like yes. Its their fault congestion the line, i150 is paying full price yet punished because of this idiots.
*
That's weird, how does illegal hotspots even work?

They use custom firmware to change router's IMEI to mobile's it seems?
I think Digi only throttles extremely heavy users, such as those who already been using tons of data before MCO. bangwall.gif
*
No idea about the modded part, I always thought that once it hits 300 GB or 1000 GB the speeds just drops to around 10 Mbps, no matter it's in a router or a phone. But a reset would usually just do the trick so there's really no point in getting a modded router?

I do wonder how heavy is heavy? >2TB of data usage? hmm.gif

Before MCO they'll throttle you upon reaching 1TB, now lowered to 300gb…
I normally uses around 800GB to 1.5TB per month, certainly a heavy user.
*
I feel ya bro.
Coming from a place without proper fibre coverage, my best option is this.

Truthfully, even if we exceed the 1TB usage, it feel totally fine since we're in the year 2020.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ May 9 2020, 11:13 AM)
Now is back to cap at 1 TB. No more cap at 300 GB.

If you request reset, they give you a page about fair usage before decide reset or not.
*
There's a page? How did you request for a reset?
Seems like there are some changes?

The asshole user i80/100 use a modded modem that use smartphone imei so the modem will use data unlimitied instead of their limited 10gb hotspot. Its illegal.
*
Isn't their speeds capped at 10 Mbps nevertheless?
