I use a power extension cord for wall socket to the location nearby the window where I place my B618 modem. Now all day, easily getting 150mbps. Highest speed I ever seen was 170mbps 😅

As far as I know, it's mostly concrete that blocks the signal. Using a outdoor antenna like the Yagi, Omni or Huawei definitely will boost the signal and give better speed performance. Do share how it goes for you once you successfully installed the antenna.

Yes, you are right. I tried both on my S10+ and B618. The B618 has lower rsrp reading, hence slightly faster speed.

Yes you are right about their speeds for 4G+ coverage. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied using Infinite 150 since they introduced this plan.

If for live chat, you will have to wait patiently for the customer service to enter the chat and interact with you. Waiting time varies, and I have experienced up to 20 minutes+ of waiting time. The live chat is not for those impatient hearted.

Calling them would be a faster option with only a few minutes tops of waiting time.

2 minutes ETA of waiting time is reasonable. I guess they have improved their CS over the years in order to win the best customer satisfaction telco award for 2019.

Is this due to poor network coverage in your area? If yes, than the Infinite Plan wouldn't be very useful in the long run. You might want to consider changing telco provider.

For Maxis, I recall that they have a mobile internet plan but quota is only up to 300GB before they start throttling. If area coverage is good, nothing beats the Infinite 150 plan for unlimited mobile internet.

He always complaints about how slow the speed is once capped, unlike DiGi Infinite where we can call to reset quota.

For that kind of premium price, I am happy sticking with my Infinite 150 all the way. Besides, Maxis lacks VoLTE feature.

Yeah, that is indeed a huge difference in speed between the two. Most unfortunate that DiGi coverage is poor in your area. If you need unlimited data, maybe can test out Unifi Mobile

I have no plans to change to umobile hero plan since Infinite 150 plan has been working so well for me. Sounds they have gotten very strict with their fup with the penalty charges for ppu.

It's not impossible but would definitely cost you money to unlock. You're better of getting a original stock unlocked unit, maybe even used/second hand.
