X one is silicon..i not sure of tempered glass for x one..

did you check out the link i gave earlier...my friend is happy with it, and no issue with facial recog or fprint

because i mess up when apply UV glue...

Not sure there still have people getting green screen or not.
But mostly people have green screen (this thread) have changed to Boe or refunded.

If you really like huawei/or its feature.give it a try.
If you going try huawei as new brand. No. Because huawei Malaysia don't even give an official statement about the screen issue.
And if your area have huawei SC... Yep, give it a try... Have problem go visit SC.

apple and samsung also screwed up before. but they dealt with it professionally, even loses million.. but it proven that consumer still confident to buy their product

i really dislike the way huawei handle issues on m20pro. even though the issue is apparent, but no official statement to recall those affected phones is ridiculous.. apparently they care mostly about money only. and that surely will backfire to them. i also would say if you are first time to try huawei, just hold it.. maybe just wait for 30 series. or don’t bother.. if it was me, even had to return the phone to their outlet will makes me mad, coz it will consume time and costs for me.. not that they will give token for sorry, they even don’t say sorry.. what a jackass.. last time samsung did offer several arrangements to please affected consumer when their note 7 went boom. want to sell phone at premium price, but customer service class pasar malam

I have to make correction. Huawei, Samsung or Apple I mention there. All of them was company. Finding profit and feed thousands people.

You mentioned Samsung handle the problem. But I still think it same to Huawei. When the first few case boom7 appear. Their customer service response to customer put their n7 into microwave..... Me confused...

I can say huawei handle the situation well, replace screen or replace phone or refund(the authorized sc I go can't refund, need go huawei sc) , compare to boom7 that burn car down.
Huawei only own us official statement.

no official statement means reluctant to come clean with the issue.. non tech savvy user probably doesn’t realize the issue, thats why they don’t want to make it official as a lot more would claim replacements.. even earlier some user complained that huawei tried to deny the issue saying its normal..

I get the phone early Nov and green happen on third day. And black dot happen next week, white screen happen next week again. And I still can use it till early Dec for change.

Because this issue was intentionally put under magnifications glass. Because the condition it tested, all amoled will color shift even the Samsung top panel, it just worse or non.
So if people feel 'there's a problem on my phone', ask SC.
And of course. Natural of company. They will insist no problem at first like other brand.

There also a walk in user I seen in SC ask to exchange even I sneak peek it's screen no green detect and he insisted he see green. (ya. the customer show them a Pic that his phone 'green' but I can't see any green on Pic.. LoL)

already end of DEC soon, new batches are already here with mostly BOE screen, I would say Go For it!! This phone really a breakthrough in the smartphone world for 2018! and when u look at the price being offered here versus Euro price, it's a no brainer!
