Does 3rd party launcher work well in EMUI? Like Apex launchers

Nope if you're using gesture control. Swipe to home will freeze or crash 50% of the time when using nova. Maybe you'll have better luck with other launcher.

I'm using Nova with gesture, I do find the gesture to home swiping will have some animation glitches, but it won't freeze or crash

Saw fr FB that you need to go back to the store and get the code from the staff

I'm using Nova Launcher Prime. U meant u crashed on gesture system navigation? I try but no issue. Anyway, I prefer the old 3 buttons key settings. So far so good, never crashed before since day one use.

Ya done sort of vibrate. If original launcher, no issue. Will check again if this is setting in Nova.

I think this is a known issue. I had emailed the developer and they said the root cause is from Huawei. Developer said that they had contacted Huawei to share on the solution but apparently Huawei refused

Wat about animation or transition, is it "smooth"?
I've noticed in past experience some 3rd party launcher don't work well on some built in OS. And I've never use EMUI b4.

i'm currently using LG v20. i notice huawei got an apps/function to transfer data etc.
is it usable for my lg? kinda lazy to resetup other than my contacts is via gmail backup.

Yes.. Download phone clone by Huawei to your LG phone. I think minimum android version must be 5 and above

I'm using a cheap screen protector and no issues with fingerprint sensor. Since the phone is new they dont have the 3d curved screen protector yet. I'm using a flat one covering just the flat surface of the screen.

Look serious , but under normal circumstances really cannot notice at all.

Have to set lowest brightness then in extreme dark place just can see this green light.

Frankly speaking, I do not touch much on any animation or transition setting. I use it few years since Xiaomi Note, then P9 Plus and now Mate 20 Pro. Last time Emui launcher quite limited feature in P9 Plus in which the Emui Launcher no app drawer like some official launcher. Now at least the Emui 9 improved a lot which you can choose to have app drawer. Anyway I used to Nova launcher and can backup & restore the settings from my old P9 Plus. Save me lots of time to redo.

You can try their trial version. I bought the Prime version at their promotion price less than RM10 if not mistaken. Check if any offer at black friday sales on 23 Nov 2018.

Who said got 6 mths before? So far Huawei only give 3 mths for screen crack or damaged. This green light issue may not sure to screen. However I believe that all the same since it's edge unless it's very serious green spot.

I think magic 1 was not release in Malaysia. Not sure about 2 so mate is still you better choice.

Mine also the same. I think first night it was fine. Until ytd when i play phone on my bed in dark room, then i noticed this green light thing. Look quite obvious under low light circumstances when u have grey color picture.
