Yes, the 40MP might darker than the 10MP assume they're using same sensor technology.

I try not to explain more technical term for you to understand easily.

Camera sensor is the little square electronic devices behind the lens. the main function is to capture light and convert it to digital information. the larger the sensor, the more light it can captured.

Ok, now you have 2 camera with same sensor size (lets say 2mm x 2mm). Inside the 2x2mm square, have many many small sensors, or we can call it pixels.
in 2x2mm, 10MP have 10-Mega pixels count
in 2x2mm. 40MP have 40-Mega pixels count.

To squeeze 40-Mega pixels count in to 2x2mm, the only way is to make the pixel size smaller.
So, pixel size smaller will be less sensivite to light.

Thats why, now you will see many smartphone/camera supplier they write pixel sensor size as well. like 1.25um, 1.5um. instead of writing the sensor format like 2/3", 1".

if lets say the 2x2mm. 40-Mega pixels count, they come out with a new tech sensor which is very sensitive to light. we also can get same brightness like the old 2x2mm 10-Mega pixel count in image.

I am using one x screen protector. its really good but if the guys didn't fit it well it will come out when you use a case.

Unfortunately i am victim of the Mate 20 Pro green tint just after 2 days of usage. I sent back to Sunway Pyramid branch and they said wanna change my screen but i insist i don't want to change. I want a new phone. Can anyone tell me what can i do to get a new phone or full refund?

Not sure is Huawei issue or those greedy retailer issue. Those retailer might just out source the repair job for cheap repair shop. The so called "refurbished" is just cheap.

If Huawei Malaysia is the one who allow the retailer do such thing, I don't think they can get big in Malaysia.
Well, I post a photo captured by my Mate 20 Pro last night. Never thought phone stock camera can capture such photo. It is a cropped photo. But I'm still vedy impressed!

on the contrary, I loving the huawei beautify feature at 0 level, as my skin tone and texture by default not very smooth and pretty like those young pretty Caucasian, every time I used my Xs to selfie I have to edit beautifying my look before dare to upload to social media lol... the huawei beautify at level 0 is just so very naturally beautiful yet not overly done like done in some 3rd party app, i mean who really love to seeing my pimples and wrinkles imperfection and really enjoy it?

guys, I've made the decision, getting a Mate 20 pro after comparing it with XS Max and Note 9

As i am aware, my god damn P10 plus oleophobic coating is pathetic and the screen isnt really scratch resistant

how well does the mate 20 pro screen fare against the P10 plus

I've got myself a UAG case since I know i'm gonna drop the phone a lot, I even managed to break my company's Pixavi Gravity X so i'm getting the best case for my own personal Mate 20 pro

now that i've got a bulky case and most screen protector won't fit, im worrying about going naked on the screen and need some advice.... anyone have the UAG case on and is also using a compatible screen protector, or the original screen is good enough
