I did this at home for test few PD, 45w, 60w x 2 vs Apple 30w PD, all lose to Apple charging time.

Will test out Xiaomi 65w Pd still on the way soon.

planning to get a 30w usb C adapter for fast charging.. any recommendation which is safe and reasonable price other than the apple 30w adapter?

Hmm, unless the third party PD isn't up to the performance? XS series is capable of 18W or 30W?

Maybe you can do is check the time needed between 20% to 80%, before iOS throttles above 80%.

For after market PD will draws more power when 70-90% , once the charging reaching 90% for that Pd will keep cooling down such as 5w/1.5A normal Apple charger like.

To compare from Apple 30w it’s took consistently not so warm and not so cool to supply power delivery for all time.

They both are deferent technology with chip and ICs inside.

Yeah man.. I was a bit lucky with the Iphone 4 as I went to Digi Ss2 a day after launch to have a look see, the guard saw me and ask me ...Iphone? I nodded and he gave me a number and ushered me to the 1st floor and I got my iphone 4 unintensionally.
The capsquare launch for the 5 was crazy. The queues were horrendously long and the atmosphere was a freaking carnival like.
During the 5s launch, I went to queue at MacCity 1U at 7am in the morning. People were already queuing up since yesterday night. Staff started serving snacks amd drinks at 8:30pm and started giving out numbers. I was the last to be able to secure a Gold 5s that day.    They had to turn people away after me because there were not enough stocks to go around. The next day, went to Maxis Selayang and got another gold unit.
For the Iphone 6+, it was midnight collection at KLCC and 6s+ was delivered to my home at midnight by Maxis staff. Bear in mind we spent hours in front of the pc preordering before we got to make payment for the phones.

Sad that its just not happening this round. However I wouldn't want to go through any of the above just tp buy a phone now too

Where got best deal for XS? Plan to get one 256gb as no choice they don't have 128gb well apple marketing always the same "profits".
