64GB is too small for XS because of the better camera now.. I need a 256GB ...

I managed to pre ordered in Maxis Online store...

In maxis, I opted for monthly payment.. but now that I think further, I can save if I pay upfront. I wonder if I can change this during collection next week? Have anyone have any experience with this before?

I don't get it either.. cannot be right?

For iPhone XS Max 256GB, if I pay monthly, it is $200/month for 24 month - so it is $5280
But upfront payment is $4658 device price.. unless this part is not true and haven't add other costs.. I am not sure.

Anyway... $622 difference is quite big.. If can pay upfront, might as well save some money

So, I managed to call 123 - they say that even if you have place a pre order, someone will call you to confirm your selection. If I needed to change from monthly to upfront payment, I can do so at that time.. niceee!

Forums in US are saying Apple leather case is actually good. But it cost RM$200, omg! But really, have anyone here tried it? Is it really that good?

Yeah, their silicon case also doesn’t cover the bottom. I remember the 6 Plus silicon case is the same.

Have you used the leather case before? I wonder how it age over time. Does it peel off or age gracefully like a wallet?

Stupid question - does anyone think you are crazy for spending so much on a phone? That seems to be the reaction I see around my colleague when the pre-order page was up. They were like, OMG! such crazy price.. those people must be mad.. and I am like (quietly to myself), uh huh, I just pre ordered. I am not sure what people will think next week after I collected it!

Still torn between Spigen case $129 in Lazada and Apple Leather $199. For $70 difference Leather seems to be a better option.

One time I was pretty pissed off with maxis and wanted to change telco. I called Celcom hotline and asked the person what are the packages and procedure to change telco and he wasn't able to tell me exactly what I need to do. And when I probed further, he sounded unsure. That interaction made me stick with maxis. At least when I complained to maxis 123, they can tell me what to do and that they understand me
