i feel so strange at the moment, i saw my taman advierstiement said time fibre can serve installed at the land house? i tot they only can allow install at the condo area only?
*
Now other ISPs are allowed to deploy fibre. My area has TNB Allo, TIME and TM. There’s Maxis and Digi manhole but so far, no poles yet. All of them excluding TM deployed fibre at the same time.

Depending on area, TIME may lay along the drain or use poles. Mine is on the drain, 2y+ now, no problem, but if there’s rat problem or vandalism, then that might be an issue.

yeah. that's super stoopig. tongue.gif poor customer retention they have. tongue.gif

i also see what they can offer. worst case scenario i will just stick to 200Mbps (NO CONTRACT) at rm99/mo.

to me also not too bad. i just want to pay less for fibre broadband monthly. no point to pay extra for higher speed.

and stay no contract also good for me, if move house also less concern.
only thing is no contract if move house i think cannot migrate the service directly to new house.
only with contract can only migrate over.

If you want extra rebate you may search for those owner want to transfer ownership with contract. Some give free some monthly fee and transfer fee. After contract ended, start on 3rd year apply for RM10 rebate. ( i think the rebate only 3rd year recontract).
100mbps good enough im not gamer, just simple usage email, shoppe,

ya need to wait till 14 dec 2025 can only call them. tongue.gif will update again here.

yes, time 200Mbps has advantage over the cheapest plan of unifi 100Mbps or 300Mbps. it is quite balanced. 200Mbps speed is more than sufficient for any family even with multiple ppl sharing at the same time.

most importantly it is 200Mbps upload and download (symmetric) so even upload is decent unlike unifi gives low upload speed for all plans except super high plan.
(but of course to be fair most ppl may be ok with 50Mbps upload speed also la).

My contract for 200mbps is ending. I am on a 12 month contract at rm89 promo price.

1. Does this promo still on offer?
2. If I call to cancel, what will they offer to retain?
3. If I cancel, can I resubscribe to get better router and free 1st month?

I want to terminate my service on my contract end date, which is 29 Dec 2025. However, Time is insisting for me to pay one month advance payment. Is this legal? Why are they charging me an additional month? My bill for Nov-Dec 2025 has been issued and paid.

It's very frustrating, home someone can help.

My RM10 discount x 12 months ended already..
From 99/month reduced to 89/month, and now back to 99/month..

I appreciate the lower monthly bills.. Now thinking to switch to Unifi for 100mbps @ 89/month..

Does Time do any counter offer to attract you to stay with them? (reading few pages back, i know for those on 600mbps they will counter offer with free 6 months for 2 years contract, but im asking specifically for those on 200mbps package if anyone have any experience)

How i wish Time would do a package for 100mbps with cheaper monthly fee
*
I am in the same boat, RM10 discount x 12 months ending soon.

For me, 200mbps is more than enough as well.

What did you do eventually? Have you terminated? Did they counter offer?

Do let me know, please.

Also, when I terminate, it is asking for an additional RM99 advance payment, even though my bill for 29 Nov to 28 Dec has been paid.

I got the Basic plan. Enough for me though. How did you get them to offer you? Did you submit your cancellation to TIME?
*
I see, I need the Premium plan for family.

Yes, submitted my cancellation on UniFi and got a call a week later to offer me that plan. It’s been 2 weeks now but still no change to my account, need to check with them.

In the contract you signed, there is a 1 month advance notice to be given for termination.
For this advance payment, it will be the charge for this month.
Another thing is, starting Jan this year, the new policy requires you to return the equipment such as ONU, Router & ONT.

Thanks.
