Yes. They've done that. Reading at FTB and drain is only around 0.5dBm difference. SI said the next subbox after the one I'm connected to, is at -20dBm. The SI requested I continue to monitor. If there are still issues, they'll contact the engineers at TIME to take a look. I've contacted TIME through Facebook and they said it's fine as long as it's below -26dBm. And said it'll fluctuate from time to time, but to me it does not seem normal to fluctuate ±6dBm.

Today, the reading is stable at -19.47 to -19.87. I wasn't home for the past few days and was monitoring thru tailscale to home. I moved the fibre around today, and maybe that fixed the inconsistent reading for the past few days. Hasn't gone back to -17 since then.

I don't think they'll do that. Why do you need to switch? You can just contact CS to change to bridge mode and it'll be the same as HG8240H.

IPv6 is already enabled by default on the HG8145X6. You have to set it up on your own router.

Is there a way for me to use the mesh node as the ONT instead? The fibre connection on the main node/ONT is loose.

I know in AP mode, you can export/import the config. I was wondering if I can switch the ONT to AP mode and export config, then import it to the mesh node. But I don't know if changing mode will retain configuration.

Yeah. I got the PLOAM password, It's the same as the PPPoE password like Anime4000 noticed. Can't really do anything with it if I don't have the superadmin password to set up.

By loose, I mean, the fibre connector can be easily removed and slight movement can degrade the reading. It's not that big of a deal.

No issues with videos etc. But I had issues with using Quad9 DNS for Facebook and Instagram a few days ago. Not loading or slow. Was fine with cloudflare or Google DNS. Not sure if it's due to quad9 or TIME.

My IP seems to be always 161.x.x.x and sometimes the ping to TIME KL speedtest server is 12ms instead of the usual 6ms (I'm in Penang). I don't have time to game rn so idk about routing issue. But seems to be good the last time I did play.

That is not bridge mode. Doing that will reset the settings on the unit. Then a SI will have to come and redo everything.

Calling TIME support is a must for bridge mode unless you know the password for the real admin account

That's not bridge mode. Bridge mode is disabling the router function of the unit and it acts as a modem, then you can use your own router.
AP mode can let you use the unit as a router, access point and a repeater, disabling the modem function of the unit.
