It's the most administrative effective and cost saving to impose a FUP policy as it's very resource consuming to track those who use modded modem.

It's just a rebranding of their plan, their unlimited calls/ internet has been slashed from unlimited RM35 to U25, validity will most likely be same RM30 = 30 days....

they need to maintain their ARPU...

If I remember correctly and if the policy hasn't changed, the hotspot only available from phone only. It is not allowed to be used from 4g router.

Hotlink is a better option for you as they allow hotspot from modem.

need to use wechat to activate now and some video recording??

how long does it take to activate? can do it at Umobile center?
