Hi guys, can I subscribe to U25 plan , then add-on RM5 hotspot and use it from phone to connect to laptop?

Umobile hotspot is meant to work from your phone only. They block usage from Mifi, wireless modem.

Hotlink and Digi hotspot works on mifi/ wireless modem.

If you are not a heavy user, consider using an old / backup 4G phone as your modem and hotspot from it.

If you are a heavy user, you should consider Umobile wireless broadband plan.

U mobile Borneo plan really good.

4G coverage has improved so much compared to 4 years ago.

Thinking of changing my main line to Umobile.

Does Umobile have consistency in their offering or they will force change it later?

Any idea umobile 5G modem will work on other umobile prepaid plan or is it locked to postpaid broadband ?

hi guys, I noticed this u borneo postpaid plan has unlimited Ultra-hotspot. I understand this ultra means can be used on modem?

nvm - got my answer. Ultra just means the mobile hotspot can withdraw from main data pool, restriction to modem still applies.
