QUOTE(anakrantau @ Dec 28 2018, 11:14 AM) The modem internet will get disconnected if here are no 4G signal. You could try buy the modem and the antenna together so it may help to get more stable 4G signal. hi bro, the bypass still works or umobile detected the bypass? No it doesn't, only bypass hotspot quota so it will run unlimited wifi tethering |

QUOTE(lowya @ May 29 2019, 09:09 AM) blocked...unlimited is only for the use of internet on the mobile phone only. If you want unlimited hotspot, Digi offers certain customer unlimited RM1/day @ 3mbps. You may look into that. This post has been edited by Chrono-Trigger: May 29 2019, 09:13 AM |

QUOTE(lurkingaround @ Feb 2 2020, 07:36 AM) . If they do the DPI, what is the consequence? Barring of line, blacklisting?Yes, the data-"unlimited" prepaid GX30 PHONE plan is limited to 3Mbps only. Video-streaming is limited to 720p/1.5Mbps(before Dec 2019, was limited to SD/480p/0.8Mbps). Throttling to 0.5Mbps will occur after exceeding 100GB of data per month = can still read news and video-stream at 360p or 240p. P2P/torrenting is also throttled to 0.6Mbps. Yes, they can detect, especially if you use about 100GB of data per month. They use Deep Packet Inspection to detect. Once detected, they may throttle, disconnect, terminate, etc the T&C/law-breaking subscriber. ....... In USA, the celcos are not allowed to do DPI on their subscribers. . |

Guys, since when Umobile allow their prepaid SIM to be used in a LTE Modem?
I remember last time they disable connection from LTE modem (mifi) but only allows internet sharing from phone. Just purchased u Mobile Sim card for testing, and notice it can be used from Mifi modem already. Is this new ? |
