Frankly, I also have tried to use MAXIS Hotlink and Digi on the beginning of this year. But I don't find any difference in speed among them with my usage patterns.

Even with super heavy rain for many hours, my U Mobile is still 4G and I can watch 720p dramas within the period.

U Mobile sympathisers as mentioned by MOD LYN don't understand... Their price offered is good. That I won't denied.. BUT their service sucks big.. slow & no stability... Got 4G signals, but still cannot load? Then what's the issues? Cheapo phone used 😂😅🤣 if cheapo phone.. won't even get 4G signal lorh... Keep spin2 & divert from main issues... Blame others factors 🤭 then silently go play report bottom like no tomorrow... Typical "Fanboy" attitude 😑

You are still using UMobile's postpaid Hero P70 phone plan which was launched in 2015. The P70 plan is no more available since about 2 years ago. Why have you used UMobile for so long if it no longer satisfied your needs.?

Likely, from the point of view of your employer, he only needs to pay for your phone plan mainly for you to make free unlimited local calls in carrying out your work duties, ie not for him to pay for your use of 3G/4G Internet data. Hence, cheaper UMobile phone plans that have no problem making calls satisfy his need to provide phone-employee-benefits but did not always satisfy your personal need for 24/7 Internet data, eg for Youtubing and online gaming. Your employer had no intention of paying your phone bills for you to do online gaming or other non-Productivity usage - similar to the government's free daily 1GB 8am to 6pm for only online education and Productivity websites/apps usage.

Most celco subscribers already know that new-comers UMobile, YES and Unifi Mobile are not the old-established Big 3 celcos with better overall 4G coverage, speed and service. So, if you want the best celco for 4G/3G Internet data for your personal online gaming or video-streaming or other non-Productivity usage, you should subscribe to the Big 3 as an extra subscription to your employer-provided phone plan. Your problem solved.

You've a history in TM threads trying to downtalk and defend the telco from my observation in the broadband & network section of this forum.

TM from my experience is the dirtiest and most dishonest telco company in Malaysia. It has in for these last few years recorded the most MCMC complaints.

It's quite clear that UMobile does not satisfy your personal need for Internet data when you are out-of-town, travelling, playing online games and video-streaming, even though UMobile does satisfy your company's need for its workers to be able to make free unlimited calls at all times.
....... So, again it's user problem and/or user's company problem, not celco problem.

Most celco subscribers know that Celcom is the best celco for out-of-town and travelling coverage for 3G/4G Internet data.

Yea that’s why I go for umobile from Celcom/Yoodo. Most of time at home or office as long as these 2 places with decent 4g I am ok. I am not gamer on mobile. I have a high speed unifi at home for my ps4 and streaming needs. At the end of the day it all depends on requirement, then find the celco that best suit the need.

I previous got use the "dumb" phone.
But damn after change the "dumb" phone, then kena 3rd party content sms straight hilang RM2/week.

Then change to the latest smartphone, even you off your mobile data, still charge PAYU...
Asking the telco, they say even you off the mobile data. But there is intermittent data transactions for 4G connections.. Weird dun know why...

So you ask me how to avoid both thing? Force you change other plan or jump to other telco?
Best way throw away the number..
