touch wood. i hope it wont happen to my phone. being trusting the ip68 rating since notorious note 7. i always bring my device to pool/sea and its still working fine. i clean it up with normal water every time after any salt water dip. will wash the phone 3 to 4 times a week if i thing its dirty or if i feel like it.
I used to do exactly what you did with my S7E but stopped doing it with my Note 8 onwards due to the discoloration on the sides of S7E, which I suspect due to exposure to chlorine in the pool, even though I rinse the phone under normal tap water after.

the official announcement for the list of models that will be getting android 10 is announced in samsung member, note 8 is not in the list
Note 8 already received 2 major update revision, hence only monthly security patch update.

Don't say dip in
Even to water parks also i got a water proof bag for my phone. Lol
LOLz........you should add another ziploc bag for extra protection on top of the water proof bag.

Oh dang .. I dropped my phone, small crack on the front screen and back panel. What is the cost for a screen replacement?
RM800 not worth to replace the screen. Better to top up and get a new phone. Hopefully S10 lite and Note 10 lite will be making their way to our shores.
