I remember there's pre-marriage testings that includes Thalessemia, HIV etc.
But honestly, most of us don't do that, unless you suspect possibility of HIV, STI etc.
If you're talking about fertility screening, just try to conceive and if 6 months with no result, only then consult doctor about fertility. 6 months but also depends on age, whether can both still afford to wait? If you are both young, give yourself a year.
Oh... I guess I received wrong information then... because I am used to the thought of having a test to check if our bloods are "close" (as in family related or something) so as to not cause inbred or something.
We are both approaching 30, that is considered as old, right? hahah

Yes for both us, we want to know we both are healthy condition. And we ask doctor for some vitamins to take.
Yea, that's one of the things that we are worried about also.

Yes you can do preliminary screening if have any concern. You may try to conceive naturally for at least 1 year before seeking help should it does not work.
As per C-section, i do not know the cost as i deliver naturally for both times. Much much cheaper, i can vouch to that.
Hmmm... how much was the natural delivery, if you don't mind me asking? and at which hospital?
