I think all those bad stories were in the past. My wife insist on government hospital and gave birth there three times. We were pretty satisfied and was up to our expectation. Dont expect 5 star service la. The doctors and nurses worked professionally and was helpful. After giving birth, the relevant klinik Kesihatan nurse will come to our house to check our baby on interval occasions. My youngest child's jaundice was quite serious and was required to ward in the hospital a few times. Price? Most were FOC except for giving birth (natural) which was less than a hundred ringgit.
Therefore i also recommend my friends. But most important is their wife must be comfortable with it.
