QUOTE(ITforce @ Feb 4 2019, 01:44 AM) The clicking noise comes out when I press down (clicking) and release (clicking again) the brake pedal while the gear lever oredi set to P. This normal as u said ? It is completely normal. You maybe didnt notice the noise before. The noise is only in P and when u press/release the brake pedal. It is a solenoid...so it is expected to have clicky noise Before few days ago, it didn't make clicking sound. just today started. New car. |

QUOTE(nordingh @ Feb 8 2019, 01:17 PM) Already 2 persons explain about the cigarette lighter port and I do agree with both. Iriz got two ports...5v 1.5A and 2.0A each..I still think Honda should give usb just for flexibility. Its already 2017 when FL was launch urghh...the era where everyone using waze and smartphone and dashcamBut let me go to more technical stuff. Those USB ports in Iriz/Pesona what is the voltage, power rating and ampere? I bet the highest is 5V, 5Watt and 1.0A. None of the manufacturer mention the rating in their website because they use a very low one. Can use to charge the phone but in very slow mode. Most phone now required 2A/10W charger for normal charging. Not to mention latest phone have a Quickcharge mode/Fast charge mode. The USB in the car doesn't have that kind of features. Hi everyone
My car will reach 6 months old soon so need to do first service. I have few question to ask experienced owner here 1) When is the best time to schedule service appointment? 1 week / 2 week earlier or longer? I believe honda sc not as many as proton/perodua need queue longer 2) Is the standard maintenance list and price in Honda website already inclusive with fully synthetic 0w-20 or we need to topup a bit to have fully synthetic 3) 10,000km / 6 months service can we skip cabin air filter? So fast already need filter change meh? |

Anyone here tested the FL jazz against their FL city?
I rent Jazz for a day, the acceleration response is not as quick as my city and the gearbox feel lazy when i floor the pedal. When put gear into S only feel the same like my city. Similar engine but perhaps different mapping and tuning from city? The jazz gear have D, S and L gear |

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Apr 10 2019, 09:58 PM) So if a BMW owner were to ask which oil should he go for and the reply was his car is not a Ferrari therefore it isn't necessary to use full synth, should he listen to that "advice"? I think another reason newer car can use semi or mineral oil for 10,000km is due to car engine emits less pollutant that deteriorate the engine oil. Modern engine oil also have higher resistance to wear than old ones. Plus newer car have lower cruising rpm than older car. Like last time 3.2k at 110km/h but now new car run at 2k at 110km/h. Newer car engine work less for the same distance travel than old car. Just my thought tho..anyway full synthetic always betterHonda SC will tell you it doesn't matter which you chose but I tell you as long it has an engine, a car is a car and it should get the best grade oil if you want to prolong usage with minimal problems. While high performance cars always used fully synth for performance reasons due to the high viscosity, even City can benefit from this improvement in viscosity when moving from mineral to semi synth and from semi to fully synth. Higher viscosity means lower friction and this leads to better engine lifespan and improve fuel economy. Another reason is due to mineral oils are made from refined oil while fully synth are made from liquefied natural gas. This difference in material base meant mineral oil are easily carbonised while the process of refining liquefied gas means it is purer and hence more resistant to carbonisation. This is the reason why most interval change for mineral oil is 5000km while fully synth is 10,000km or more. I am quite skeptical of Honda SC claims that their mineral oil can last for 10,000km intervals as none of my previous rides have such assurances. Above is the reason why I am skeptical. I am not telling you to break the bank if you barely afford it but f you can comfitly afford for full synth, then go for it, otherwise go one step lower to semi-synth. Some manufacturer already set 15k engine oil change interval for fullnsynthetic oil This post has been edited by arza04: Apr 11 2019, 06:29 AM |

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Apr 14 2019, 05:31 PM) More silent yes, but I would prefer the unmatched cooling capacity of Protons. Even in hot day, Proton aircon can still be very chilling. Yes very true. My 13 years old wira aircon is colder than my new city. But it takes awhile to feel the coolness due to large condenser, once it already cool then very nice even under hot 1pm sun lolPerhaps, but I normally close the rear vents since I drive alone and I still feel its not as cold as my Persona. |

QUOTE(ahrain @ May 17 2019, 11:49 PM) Wanna get some opinion from all Sifu here. Quite nice deal, new after rebate 70k-ish. City Facelift or pre-facelift? If FL then nice lo. But personally I will suggest take spec E and above, S too kosong especially for pre-facelift modelHonda City 1.5 S, year 2017 with mileage less than 25k. Selling 53k worth to buy? I know the owner personally. Thanks. |

Hi everyone...since i have already use city for 6 months..i still dont understand the engine completely lol
Ours gm6 using L15z1 yes? The i-vtec in this engine is what actually? Seems like honda just label their i-vtec to most of their engine but different mechanical function Is our i-vtec is vvti or valve lift? If vvti, does single cam engine actually support vvti? |
