The third link really help! Thanks thumbup.gif

So under low load, the intake valve does not completely close when the piston stroke upward. When under load, the engine will work normally thus will give normal peak power. No vvti and cam lift, but this engine really give superb fuel economy thumbup.gif

Mine v spec just pull the boot down halfway and let it closed by gravity. So far it close perfectly without any hard closing laugh.gif same with my old civic fd, pull down softly and let it closed by gravity.

My heart will sink a little bit everytime when other people close the boot laugh.gif

Honda 10w30 is mineral oil from petronas

I used it during my 10,000km service...now just past 15,000km. Next service 20,000km will ask them to use fully synthetic 0w-20 since the price difference is only 40 bucks

Anyone here already use the floor jack? Just now i used mine to change flat tyre. Removing the tyre is okay, but when installing back the tyre after repair the height clearance is not enough. Need to use exora jack only can get enough clearance biggrin.gif My tyre is stock from factory 15inch

Just sharing about my 2018 City's door/window noise that started few weeks ago.

Whenever I auto wind up the driver door, a few seconds after the window is up there is creaking noise. It sounds like the window mechanism is pushing against the plastic door panel, until the auto window relay cuts off power.

Gonna inform SC during next visit.
*
How long the creaking noise? Mine does that too, but just for like 1 seconds after windows fully shut. I thought this is normal?

After 2 hours facebook search, i found the issue

The front hood does not latch completely! Its funny how the front hood does not link with the door ajar light

Luckily the front hood does not fly and smash my underinsured windscreen when I travelled 800kms in these 4 days sweat.gif

Maybe someone wants to pull the fuel lid lever but accidentally pull the hood lever together

I'm surprised that it even link to the beep...

You can try...pull your front hood lever and lock the car

No beep and no signal light flashing...but the car is lock and side mirror fold sweat.gif

At first i thought someone play with the remote key combination somehow change the beep settings

Just changed the H11 halogen bulb with LED bulbs which is plug n play for under 10 min. Cost of bulbs are $53.38 incl delivery.

Reason as I stay in hilly area with plenty dark roads. Hope it'll last 30k hours before needing to change

Try to press the brake pedal harder. I don't know why mine everyday like this. After the car park for some time the brake pedal become very hard. I just press harder then can start already. Not sure is it normal or what.
*
Any car when engine is not running the brake pedal will harden after depress 2-3 times

Brake pedal when engine running is soft due to the vacuum created from the engine to assist the brake booster

It is completely normal

Guys regarding HIP, As long we purchase with Honda dealer then we under HIP? normally I get quotation i didn't saw which insurance company.. Now I saw the insurance company.. Wonder can change or not..
Anyone claimed before with HIP? What's the diff and izzit HIP become window between us and insurance company?
*
HIP is just the marketing name used by honda and can only be purchase from honda

The insurance still link with the insurance company you wish to purchase. Got few company offer HIP like Etiqa, Zurich, MSIG etc you can choose.

Better just renew yourself online, cheaper price and also get 10% rebate. The benefits offered in HIP is also offered outside, just pay the add-ons that you wish to have and still cheaper than HIP

if not mistaken for HIP, the insurance claim cover up to 10 years without single cent you have to pay. for non-hip, after 5 years, each year you need to cover 10% of the insurance claim.

for example, during 7th year you do insurance claim, 20% you need to bear yourself
*
You can do that too with other insurance, just choose the adds on "waiver of betterment". Some insurance allow up to 15 years.
Afterall the insurance provider for HIP just the same insurance provider outside HIP

*
QUOTE(eddie2020 @ Oct 7 2019, 10:19 PM)
previously i quote 2 times dy still hip cheaper than etiqa.. this round i try and check again..
i still with hip i think i will cont.. the brochure said anything we call hip instead of call our insurance thats why i ask anyone using or claim before...

i heard etiqa is quite good

Try online quote MSIG Motor+ with Rm1000 windshield cover just below 2k for me. NCD 25%. Of course the add-ons you can play around and choose what u needed. But i think this is the most comprehensive cover and value for money because of full special perils coverage, strike & riots, unlimited towing, etc

Did you get the 10% rebate? Because I read somewhere that if buy direct from MSIG, can get 10% rebate?
*
Open the spoiler on my previous post, look on bottom left of the picture, there is 10% rebate deducted from the total price. Actually any insurance if u renew online u will get 10% rebate because no agent involve. The 10% is actually agent commission

Last year I read on one of the honda fb post...you actually can renew

Honda is just an agent to the insurance provider, it doesnt make sense if they not letting people to renew back under HIP and stop commission from coming in
