Does any one honda city jerk when slowing down at 20-40km/h? Especially cvt shifting and compressor kick in.

After my own investigation, the rattling sound that I thought is coming from door panel is actually caused by this part inside the glove box below the dashboard.

No. It's the electrical box inside the glove compartment. Got connectors one.

FL wiper blade is 26 and 14 inch? Do you all replace only the wiper or replace the blade together with the hook ?

I will try put a piece of foam on top of the box so it makes it tighten and not loose moving when driving.

Finally the foam solved 90 percent of the rattling noise inside the glove compartment as the box stuff not shaking so easily and tightened by the foam piece.

Now it won't rattling whenever engine idle, accelerate, drive on uneven roads.

I have that sound too, how to fix?

My car insurance expiring next month. My current hip insurance premium for FL City 2019, E spec, insured value RM79k including windscreen is RM1370+ after 55% NCD

If I renew with hip or non hip insurance,, what is the estimated sum insured should I put for one year car and the premium to pay? Mine has full modulo bodykit.

Thanks.

For those that renew insurance with HIP, do you all get the insurance policy on the spot when renewed at SC and online with JPJ ? Or still need to wait for insurance company to process?

Do I need to call SC to make appointment for renewal hip and ask quotation first before I go there?

Or I can walk in to renew and request quotation on the spot?

QUOTE(dickybird @ Jan 2 2020, 09:37 PM)
Instantaneous! Do at HIP, next hour can go post office and renew Roadtax.

Do u mean Honda or insurance company?

my first year insurance is from liberty. I wan get the policy last time I have to direct call them even though I ask my SA to check for me.

I only get the hip folder and hip road tax sticker , no card no doc that I'm sign up with hip. My policy I direct get from liberty by email and policy number from liberty too, not hip.

QUOTE(dickybird @ Jan 3 2020, 10:44 PM)
Yes walk in and enquire can also.
Usually when it is near renewal time, the current provider will email you or snail mail you a quotation for next year’s policy quotation.

Ok. Can renew car insurance, then next few days only renew road tax? Or road tax and insurance must renew on same day?

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Jan 3 2020, 11:00 PM)
If you didn't get ur policy cover note when you bought the car, you got a really bad SA with poor services. FYI even though everything is in system, just in case to do towing or claim insurance at workshop, it is handy to have ur cover note in ur car. When you renew next time, insist of getting a policy cover note printed/emailed to you. The entire policy will/might be post mailed to you in a week or so.

Lesson learnt.m. don't ever renew motor insurance online during weekends because when there is payment issue or policy not renewed or payment processed but not online, there is nobody working at insurance customer service.. not even email.

Do not buy or use Bosch Advantage wiper blades, it's too tight and there is no unlock pin to easily remove the blades once it's fit in. And removing the blade will strip off some paint from the sides of U hook wiper arm. Wasted RM38 on one pair Bosch.

Just replaced my FL battery after battery warranty has expired 10 days ago . Engine cranking can feel weak and got a pause in between cranking.

Now changed with Hitachi 48B19L NS40 high spec battery. New model by Hitachi @210 trade in old FB battery + installation.
