I have done twice tire alignment at different workshop, even with balancing once, but the results are more or less the same. Today is the third time I checked with foreman about alignment. But Everytime foreman say alignment ok. Previous foreman did tighten the screw on the wheel after alignment and tested drive it. Similar result to me.

I heard some forums say that alignment need to be done with a person sitting and holding the steering wheel on center position while alignment is done adjusted by another guy.
Twice I done alignment was nobody holding the steering in centered position. Would this has caused the off centered alignment issue?

QUOTE(danthe0 @ Sep 21 2019, 07:52 PM)
Some say it's safety cause you need to keep hands on wheel and readjust, some say it's problem cause car doesn't drive straight.
It's obviously a problem.

Tires rotation at every 10k is not must right? I hardly go outstation.

QUOTE(zy93 @ Sep 21 2019, 08:42 PM)
I prefer this shop.

PJT Tyre Service Sdn Bhd
21, Jalan Penyelenggara U1/73, Batu Tiga, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor

https://www.google.com/search?q=pjt+Glenmar...2520Sdn%2520Bhd

Reasons:
1) so far no problem with their alignment + balancing.
2) Near my house laugh.gif
3) no camber nut shit
4) reasonable price. I forgot how much.
5) friendly workers
6) give good advice like recommend to do tyre rotation every 10k, check tyre pressure frequently at morning
7) fast service

Edit:
Not recommended:
A shop with Pirelli logo near proton/perodua/lamborghini Glenmarie.

Reasons:
1) went into the stop, first thing they mentioned my tyre condition is not good must change if I got into accident don't blame them. Then the young guy recommend Pirelli P7. 205/55R16. But my tyre condition still usable with maybe 30-40% treadwear. I was using Toyo Proxes C1S with some chipping off like Michelin ps4/3 as other forumers mentioned its normal on some tyre  (hard-selling their tyre)
2) they damaged my nut and say the nut is stuck in the rim due to previous foreman didn't lock properly and just hantam the nut without proper positioning. Need to send back to Honda sc to remove the nut with my own cost. (my problem is I went the their shop previously so I can confirm is them who didn't lock the nut properly but they don't want admit and blame me for sending my car to other shop)
3) same case as 1) to my father. It says the wear was not good due to some camber or alignment shit and must change new tyre, that time treadwear was more than 50%. My father is using typical size Pirelli P7 RFT and he purchase his tyre and done alignment balancing at this shop too.
4) young foreman, I guess it was the boss's son is not really helpful other than hardselling their product and pushing responsibility to others.

At the end I have no choice but to leave the shop with the damaged nut and send my car to HZN Glenmarie beside. That's the last time I visit that shop, very very bad experience with this shop. Just sharing my personal experiences.

Hi, my front disc brakes giving some "eeeeeee" sound when I braking slowly til full stop after the car just started moving. After driving for a while and the wheels have warm up, the eeeeeee noise subsides. Is it required to skim the discs brake at SC or can do it outside ? If do outside workshop will void warranty on brake or disc? I afraid doing outside workshop will replace it with old dics that have skimmed instead of directly skimming my original dics...

Usually how much SC charge for skimming disc? Can do it on weekend during service or need do on weekdays?

How much charge?

QUOTE(arza04 @ Oct 28 2019, 12:31 PM)
If u want to skim your disc i can recommend you a shop. They also expert with Honda. Workshop at Puncak Jalil. They skim your disc in their own shop on the spot, not trade in your disc and replace with skimmed disc

U inflated the tires during cold or hot ? If hot tires, the pressure go higher a few psi which is not accurate. Mine last time when
rear tires hot was 29 psi, when I checked it cold was 26 psi. So it's kinda under inflated. So I drove 500m to nearest petrol station and pump it to 30psi. Then the spring squeaking sound is very lesser now unless I drive it on very uneven rough road surfaces.

quote=AureusX,Oct 28 2019, 04:43 PM]
I inflated the tires again recently to test out this theory, the squeaking is still happening sad.gif
Nothing in my boot compartment. I have only the boot tray in there and it has never given me any problems.
I now noticed it's only only on uneven roads. It sometimes happen when I step on my brakes too. It's more of a spring squeak kind of sound. Like when you jump on a spring bed and the spring squeaks? Yeah, that kind of sound. I hear it more often now sad.gif

Oh. I went to 1k and 10k service and SC got checked the battery, not sure they got top up battery water. So far from mid July until now I never check the battery level and top up.

I thought wet battery has multiple water hole caps. But mine doesn't seem to have the holes.

QUOTE(danthe0 @ Oct 28 2019, 05:40 PM)
It's not really MF, you can peel back the sticker; the water hole is accessible (except center one need angle abit cause support bar blocking).

Not water, it's battery water. So u got top up ? How long is your battery?

QUOTE(MasBoleh! @ Oct 28 2019, 05:47 PM)
I thought SC can skim the disc?
Yea most people nowadays using MF battery, my old vios using non MF battery and can last very long.

So wondering this city got non MF or not.
Well, yea got hole but not advisable to pour water in it as it may disturbed the chemical composition and cause harm to the battery and your car.

Mmm. If SC never top up, then it's about 9 months I never top up the battery. Don't think wer battery can last so long time without topping.

But I remembered I posted here before asking if it's a MF battery or wet type, and got few members said it's MF. By the way, my battery has a label with MF.

QUOTE(MasBoleh! @ Oct 28 2019, 05:48 PM)
Nope. SC don’t top up. They just check how much charges the battery still retaining

Means I no need top up battery water into the factory default battery?

QUOTE(babylon52 to281 @ Oct 29 2019, 12:12 AM)
If you mean from factory, then no. AFAIK all Honda OEM batteries are MF type.

FYI some brands of car batteries share the same casing between MF & wet, just the sticker covering the screw tops will tell you that's an MF type. Between MF & wet, its the inside plate composition that matters.

FYI2, normally MF won't need top up water which is why the holes are covered. Unless the MF battery can run super duper long (3 years), then it will need topup. Otherwise it usually dies faster than wet type.

FYI3, the water used for topup is not normal water but battery water. Typically its Deionised water.

How long would it take to claim insurance and get it repaired at Honda?

QUOTE(arza04 @ Nov 16 2019, 12:05 AM)
If you want to repair at SC, just claim insurance. SC never do repair, they will replace the parts. And the cost is high, i doubt the guy will pay.

Plus, claim insurance is the safest bet. No hanky panky, u get original parts with good workmanship. Some insurance also provide 6 months - 3 years warranty for the parts claimed

I went ketuk shop to fix it already cos cannot close boot.
They ketuk the dent, adjust back the bumper and glue back the reverse sensor bracket. Damage 150.

I called Honda SC , they charge 2.5k for replacing bumper, sensor and the rear boot banner.

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Nov 16 2019, 09:22 AM)
If ownself paid repair, will take SC 1 week. They will send to nearest Honda B&P to do the job.

If report, normally will take SC about 2-3 weeks for this case if you chase the sarjan after 1 week you met the sarjan. Don't do it too soon or too often as he might get angry and give you bad verdict.

Ketuk shop sure can fix! Ketuk back only mah! But if you go for insurance claim, you cannot do anything to it until adjuster came and see the damages. As long you can close the boot, just leave it alone.

Just remember the 24hr rule. Don't too late to make polis report ya.

Reverse sensor working, just the bracket one side spoiled. So glue back the bracket onto the sensor.

Bumper actually no dents and paint peeling, just few small scratches on bottom part near rear skirting.

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Nov 16 2019, 04:08 PM)
Have you checked if reverse sensor is still working?
Don't need to respray the bumper?
