One piece 250? I thought it's 250 per pair. Replace sensor I ask SC they said they not doing. Have to change at Honda 4S

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Nov 16 2019, 05:04 PM)
Ur so kind to that person who knocked you.

If myself I don't care, I will want it back to ori before got hit. If need to replace, then that person has to pay. Lucky the sensor no need replace as thats a RM200-250 per piece.

After knock back properly, the immobilizer back to normal and the door indicator light off d.

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Nov 16 2019, 05:09 PM)
Frankly there's nothing there need to replace. The rear is out of alignment because the crash structure got hit, they just need to knock back properly and the boot trim will fit it again. They will try to push you on bumper replacement as it is easier & faster to reinstall a new one than removing scratches and repaint the old one. Charging more is another incentive for them.

Before my rear bonnet left side gap is bigger than right side. Can slip finger into it, cicak oso can go in. Now I sent to ketuk body repair shop to fix the boot lid dent, the foreman help me to readjust the rear bonnet to centre and now both sides are aligned properly. No more can slip finger into it..

QUOTE(eddie2020 @ Nov 16 2019, 07:50 PM)
The bonnet replacement izzit only if it over 10mm only consider defect? My rear bonnet recently changed job the company always need inspect when I out from premise.. So open n close everyday.. When I do my car wash I feel the gap kinda big.. From the below side near edge (near number plate area) I can put my last finger inside.. My last finger I think around 8mm thickness.. Later I try take ruler to measure

Boot latch was misaligned, now after knock back the latch can the bootlid properly so ur boot door sensor is now function normally.

QUOTE(mushigen @ Nov 16 2019, 09:00 PM)
Did you perform rain test to check for leaks?

I opted for E Spec cos I personally don't like leather seats and the rear spoiler in V spec. I like the LED taillights though. I can live with halogen headlights too as long it has DRL.

For airbags, I think 4 is enough as safety. No tweeters is ok as I not really particular about the sound, though it's nice to have if it's free.

quote=mushigen,Nov 23 2019, 02:02 PM]
I fully agree with you on the no deployment of airbags. However, I personally don't consider airbags "nice to have". Leather seats are nice to have though. I wouldn't cough up RM7k (the difference in price over E spec) for something that is nice to have. In fact, I dislike the LED headlights because they fare poorly in wet weather conditions.

Like insurance, I try to get the best safety features in cars, to the best of my financial ability. If there was Honda Sensing as RM3k option, I'd go for it too.
If money is no object, I'd even get the latest Volvo brows.gif

Everyone's risk appetite is different, and we make choices based on our risk tolerance. Hence, you see some people always ensure everyone in the car is belted up, whereas some drivers don't even bother to belt up themselves. As they say, to each his own.

Cheers.

For 20k km service for City, is it below 300? I check Honda schedule shows 260+, but the SC I called said that it's around 300 to 400... So expensive?

The customer service insist need to take the full package for 20k services like include aircond cleaner, else warranty void by Honda. And if go check other SC will be same pricing.

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Nov 28 2019, 11:02 PM)
Rm260 is for the bare minimum essentials but once you start upgrading to fully synth oil, carbon air filter, adding tyre alignment, car cleaners, etc, it will certainly go up and up.

No raining both nights m I checked my rear third brake and rear lamps are working properly.

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Nov 30 2019, 10:58 PM)
If thats the case, I would seek 2nd opinion from another SC.
Was it raining those 2 nites? Did you check ur 3rd brake light working, as impossible they cannot notice you are still braking if 3rd brake light is ON?

Yeah, one was not focused and the other one was using phone texting.

QUOTE(8sg9ft @ Dec 1 2019, 10:15 AM)
Not impossible. Some drivers are just either sleeping at the wheel or playing with phone while driving

Do u find FL car body is soft type that easily dented, especially the rear bonnet area. just a small knock fromcar behind like in traffic jam stop start will dent the rear side interior.

If I buy original brake pads and aircond filters from Hingan, can SC replace it with labour charge or we must buy the parts from SC ?

Normally our tires can pump maximum how much psi? I think I had previously pumped the tires to over 45 psi to 50 psi without tire gauge check. Pump gauge at petrol station not accurate.

I check pressure after pumped the next morning.

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Dec 5 2019, 10:44 PM)
How expensive can a tyre gauge be from Mr DIY? And w/o a gauge how did you know you pumped 45-50 psi?

I checked in the morning got two front tires around 45psi. Others around 36psi.

No blowouts luckily but feel hard ride.

The DIY tire gauge below RM10 is accurate reading?

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Dec 7 2019, 10:12 PM)
Dude,
Optimum pressure about 30psi. Ur going nearly double that. Once the tyres heated up it will easily breach 60psi. You plan to have a blowout is it? Just get a simple tyre pressure gauge, and use it to calibrate the pump pressure settings to the recommended psi. Going slightly over is still ok but not until 20psi more.

I'm using the stick type gauge.

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Dec 8 2019, 01:50 PM)
Well if you can't trust the round gauge type, go for the stick type (where it pops up the back). As long they work properly they are accurate for ur usage, you want true accuracy go send it to be calibrated.
