Um, you guys don't roll your Windows to vent the hot cabin air after your car has been parked outside in the sun? I do it all the time.
*
My car always in the garage, only park under direct sunlight at the office. I only go to office once or twice in 2 months and normally for just 3-4 hours only, sometimes less than an hour. biggrin.gif

My car have 5 sunshades and I only tinted the windows after I use the car for 2 years when my brother-in-law introduced me to his friend (car tinted shop owner). I just need to pay the cost price only for the tinted.

That's very detailed. Thanks.

I am actually considering this....  brows.gif

Capacitive Touchscreen ~RM1.2k from Amazon.

I did consider a few Pioneer but didn't record some details, then become so lazy to redo everything again.

got build in battery? can function for how long after engine stop?
*
Most dashcam have a small battery or use capacitor just for time keeping.

If want to record after engine off, use powerbank. Look for powerbank that can supply the power while it's charging. For example Xiaomi.

Else look for dashcam that can use direct battery and ACC, normally not cheap because this kind of dashcam have a feature to monitor car battery level too. If the battery level drop to a level just enough to start the car, dashcam goes to off mode automatically.

Thanks. Wow, need to take out whole bumper sweat.gif
*
No need actually, but need something big to support the bumper.

I remove out bumper because I need to do a few things.
- re-organized DRL cable
- reinstalled new front camera and also redo the wiring, cut, solder and make it short. new camera in different position now
- remove the grill extra cover and put back because I need to clean leftover double sided tape when I remove old DRL.
- most important is, remove the bumper and fits it correctly to it's position and make sure all clips under engine are in place and still a good one. (I involved in accident few months back)

I do it everything alone last sunday, my son have their own activities. My wife also working. Better to remove the whole bumper anyway to avoid more damage. They only help when I want to put everything back and during camera test and adjustment.

Still need to visit Hingga Auto to buy more clips. Top part still using broken clips.

*
NO, normally plug and play.

QUOTE(NickedAsy @ Nov 13 2018, 07:52 AM)
Belum. They said I need to go one day to verify the problem then need to go again to do the replacement itself. And all cannot do on weekends. So still finding a time to do the replacement lol
*
Change start button took 2 days? Really. I change mine during last service, just few hours including servicing, waiting and shopping.

Yours was done during servicing meaning on weekends? Maybe my center in mlk diff policy kot. Kah motor 3S.
*
I went weekdays at Kah Motor Selayang. During the checkup, I just told the problem, the SA check stock and said OK, will replaced it, no verification was done, I not even show any pic or video to prove it. Even the SA said this common issue with City, old Accord and Civic.

Kah Motor Selayang is the best for me, never had any issue with them.

Last year, during 50K service, as my car entitle for battery recall program, the SA check my battery and saw I use Century NS60 already, so he told me, wait until that battery kaput and come to SC again to get the new battery. So when the battery died, I called them to inform and get the replacement ready, went there with motor, give them the Century, back home with a new battery.

Wah you must be very friend with the SA guy. Already changed battery also can claim recalled part? So good.

Maybe I was lucky.

I heard before, cannot exceed more than 2 weeks from the 6 months service interval. I missed the Service for more than 2 months, still no warranty void, yet I still can claim the start button.

Dang. Maybe that time the spare part was available or they memang keep stock for that at selayang. How long your ns60 lasted?
*
Yokohama NS40 - Sept 2014 - Nov 2015 - 14 months (vapor leaking)
Century NS60 - Nov 2015 - Aug 2017 - 21 months
Furukawa NS40 - Aug 2017 - Now - 14 months

Need to spare a battery already. Feel like the battery under power, 90% only now (12.5Volt before start).

Nice the ns60 lasted 2 years. The Yokohama could have gone longer if not for the leak? I'm thinking the next brand to test is the Amaron. Wanna see what's the hype about it.
Do you have a voltage sensor on the battery itself or using the cig lighter? Because when I turn on the initial acc without the key with the sensor in the cig port, it dips to 12.4 sometimes coz it loads the hu and the dash so I thought all the while it was normal since the cranking sound doesn't sound weak yet. My pana ns40 also around 3 months je. hmm.gif

I use a more accurate one... Proskit Digital Multi-meter and Sanwa Digital Multi-meter.

Haiz. Talking about battery, my FB battery kong this morning. About 20 months of usage since I bought my car, and approximately 3 weeks after my SC told me the battery condition is at 68% (Hmm, so roughly within 2 weeks I should change next time).

Now change to VARTA NS40zl 38AH battery. Made in Korea. Hopefully can last me at least 2 years.
Total damage is Rm230 cry.gif
*
Varta is German Company, Made in Korea by Jonson Controls Korea.

Varta and Bosch battery made in same factory, price almost similar.
