brake fluid for gm6 is dot 3, is good to prepare 2 bottles at least and better get it done at workshop.

Anyone had change the engine mounting?

Did it at my regular workshop last year. Can’t remember how much it cost, though. My gm6 is 7 yrs old now, 70k km on the clock.

Same yr & mileage, how come so fast need change mountings? Alot of vibrations etc?

It was my wife’s car for 5+ years before I took over, when she moved to a new GN2 city. Can’t say more

How is the feeling after changing the mounting?

Felt some minor vibration when engine was idle. Gone after the mounting replacement.

U changed all 3 1 go or just one of it?

Complete set.

Is the NVH better? Interior more spacious? Do u have steering rack issue?

GN2 feels more spacious, nvh maybe a bit better but it’s a newer car so perhaps everything fits together tighter. No issue with steering rack so far on either car.

Just my 2 sen’s worth - Vios is less spacious, less powerful. City is more practical as a daily drive car.

Go test drive before you splash the cash for a new ride.

Hi all, recently my car front area, when running on cold morning got kluk kluk sound from both left and right but when after driving for a while, the sound seems go quieter... Any idea what is spoiled? Car mileage around 110k.

Quality Alam, and yes because this is toxic scheduled waste. Otherwise can ask your local workshop to help dispose.

Could be steering rack,almost same issue like mine

At certain RPM when driving & idling too, the top of my dashboard will subtle rattle 'trrrrr' like plastic vibration. Is that mean my engine mounting need to change?

My car facelift version, 7 years and done about 90k.

Your steering rack got sound when turn to the maximum either to the left or right when it spoiled?

No need to turn all the way to have sound ,just slight also hv

Mine so far when turning no sound... so i didn't suspect it. When the car running hot then the sound no more...
