New models don't have reviews yet so can't tell, however 7000 series is usually solid
Yeah, there is someone though at Forum.notebookreview.com
Did ask his opinion though.
But I'm hoping to hear more about 5300.

I am stuck between these 2

UX333. However be aware of Asus inconsistent QC and bad warranty service

Hi, what about this model (Lenovo Ideapad 720s - Rm2.6k) vs Dell Inspiron 5480 (Rm3.4k)? Specs are about the same but i think Lenovo is an older model.

Which 720s? Intel or AMD?

What about comparing this with Dell's refurbished laptops? I saw some Latitude models around rm3k with similar specs and with 3 years warranty.

The latitude 5000/7000 series. So if there is a bad TN panel, it's covered under warranty? I'm not very familiar with a refurbished laptop.

Picture/specs attached below.

I'm not sure since Dell website usually don't mention IPS or TN, need to ask @myway1985

Is this from Dell outlet? Usually have 1 yr warranty

Which model you had? Why not good?

Budget? Any preference on weight and battery life?

Budget: Around 3k ~ 3.5k
Usage: Office + normal surfing + media (movies etc) + light gaming
Size: 13-14"
Processor: Intel i5 should be enough (dont think I need a powerful i7 processor)
Ram: At least 8GB (ok with non-upgradeable)
Storage: Must have SSD or SSD+HDD
Screen: Decent one will do
Weight: Around 1.5 or below
Battery: Not sure but wish it could last longer (never own a laptop before)
Other: Decent build quality, no need 2 in 1 or touch screen

Currently eying on Acer Swift 3 and HP Envy 13 but unsure the exact model, the model number are confusing

Any sugestion for laptop for budget around 2.5k? Prefer longer battery life.

Eyeing for dell 7570. Office+trade with multiple chart+media(movie)+can run smoothly software such as autocad & solidworks.

Forgot to ask: Is 2 in 1 convertible a must? Need dGPU / decent iGPU?
Mind low sRGB display? (less vibrant colours)
New models aren't that good in this price range
