Give a max budget

Any preference on battery life? Mind low sRGB IPS? Mind non-upgradable RAM?
*
My max budget would be around 3.5k - 4k. Battery life should be decent , doesnt have to be very long lasting. Screen also decent should be okay. Upgradedable RAM is preferred.

Thanks.

1. Budget : Maximum RM3.5k, the cheaper the better
2. Usage : Graphic design and gaming
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : 15.6 inch with good display, battery life and weight does not matter

Max weight preferred in kg? No preference on battery life and display quality? Need 16GB RAM?
*
Max weight 2.5 kg. Battery life and display doesnt really matter. 8gb RAM is enough for now. Also, what's the cheapest laptop that on the market currently that include gtx1060?

You need to bump up your budget a bit

Lenovo Legion Y530 (customize)(15% student discount)
Commandos Glock 5 (Clevo NB50TK1)
Illegear Raven (TongFang GI5CN4E/5E)

Cheapest doesn't mean good, Raven with 1060 would be my choice for a budget 1060 laptop, although the cooling can barely handle 8750H+1060 imo

To get student discount, you need to ask sales representative in the website chat tab

Commandos is actually a brand from Tech Armory which is a reputable Clevo reseller in Malaysia. The model NB50TK1 is a good budget model. I have a review on it

Hello all.

1)Budget 700-1.5k (lower better)
2)Usage: To connect HDMI to TV, download stuffs, some MS office work
3)Requirement:
SSD and HDMI port is preferable.
Screen size, battery, weight doesnt matter.
Stay at home 90% of time.
If possible, non plastic casing, bad experience with plastic degrade overtime.

Thank you

S730 has smaller battery (~7 hrs) and no USB A, however it has TB3 and it is thinner+lighter
300 nits 72% NTSC IPS and normal performance, nothing special here

1. Budget :rm1.5 to 2k
2. Usage : for my sis form6 usage(crazy how f6 nowadays need laptop). Probably just heavy usage on Office programs.
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :

She needa bring to school here there, so smaller size, longer battery life, and lighter weight is preferable.

No need too fancy designs. Thanks.

Might want to bump up budget unless you're fine with low end CPU+low RAM and refurb/used stuffs

want to ask for commando glock 5 and raven, is there any problem for the i5-8400 / gtx1050ti variant like cooling, throttling, etc..

for the specs i wanted, y530 would cost me 4.5k after 15% discount, while raven and glock 5 would cost me 4k. significantly lower cost.. so im thinking to get either one..

of this 3 laptops, which is the best in terms of cooling/durability/after sales?? is y530 worth the additional 500?
